Lamplighter Lounge
Business has taken me to the Minneapolis area the past several weeks. In reviewing the SC in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area none seemed to come forward as a “must visit.” Given that, I decided to visit the Lamplighter Lounge last week to see what it was all about.
I arrived about 4pm on a Thursday afternoon. There was no cover charge nor was I instantly blind the moment I walked into the door. There were actually lights on inside. After visiting the Men’s Room (the absolute cleanest strip club Men’s Room I’ve ever been in) I made my way to the bar for a $3 Diet Coke.
I stayed seated at the bar to take in the atmosphere. Only a few patrons were on-hand and I counted four dancers on-duty. None of the dancers were raving beauties but they were serviceable; 6’s and 7’s. One dancer had a large and natural bust line. A bit plain otherwise she was the closest to the mark of what I like.
As others have mentioned the floor dance is behind a glass wall with slots at the bottom for tipping. The glass wall is just weird to me. Each dancer looked to do three dances behind the glass wall. Clothing removal seemed dependent on the level of tipping. While this is advertised as a nude club I saw only one Latino dancer remove her bottoms and she was getting a steady stream of bills passed through the glass wall.
A tall Minnesota blond captured the bar stool next to me and we had a nice conversation. She had a nice laugh and enjoyed exercising her laugh. Since she spent some time with me I agreed to a $20 VIP dance when she asked. She did not remove her top for or during the VIP dance. I was so surprised that she didn’t do so I actually never thought to ask if she could/would remove her top. The dance was okay with quite a bit of covered breast in my face and some grinding. We discontinued after one dance and I returned to my bar seat.
