I went to Delilahs just after they opened on Superbowl Sunday. Made the mistake of going on a Sunday night about a month ago, and it was jammed after an Eagles game, well into the night. So I went early today, figuring it would get too crowded ast he game approached. Plus I wanted to be home in time for the game myself.

Why not a 10? Even when there weren't a lot of customers, no dancers came by asking for a dance. That's how they make their money, and normally the only time you can't get a cance is when it's too crowded and they can't fit enough dancers in the place to meet the demand. After they came off stage, dancers got dressed and disappeared. I saw a couple walk behind the bar and disappear. Maybe they took guys from the bar into the couch dance room on that side, but that doesn't make much sense. Let me explain. Delilahs has a long stage along the middle of the main room, with bars at both ends, surrounding small circular stages. When you sit at the bar, you can't see the dancer much, she spends 80-90 percent of her time on the long, central stage. If you sit at the bar, you're not there to watch the dancers. But not one guy sitting in the chairs along the main stage got even one dance during the hour and a half I was there, even though some guys were tipping.

Other problem. An old guy came in with his wife/girlfriend, and immediately the hottest dancer went and sat with them. Then another dancer joined them. They never went into the back, they bought a girl a drink, but I don't think they were just feeding girls money to sit there. So why all the attention? One girl was rubbing the guy's neck and even gave him a couple of pecks on the mouth every one in a while. Then after a while, the wife would take about 20 bills, and through them on the stage for the dancer to pick up. I thought this was really classless. Be polite and hand it to her, give her a 20 dollar bill and be a little subtle. This was for all the guys sitting around the stage, not for the dancer. Now, I assume these were dollar bills. If they were twenties, then I'll shut up because they dropped a couple grand on the stage. Otherwise, they spent less than a hundred dollars while I was there. I was planning on dropping a hundred myself, and had two hundred in case I really started enjoying myself. I'm not bragging, I'm sure other people had brought more, but I got no attention at all, and no one else did either. Yeah, I'm ranting. But I mean, what's up with this treatment?
