I agree Ron, the wine is still the killer. It’s predatory. My last visit I saw a guy who it was clear his first time in HK. His girl asked for 3 wines and he bought them. That’s a c note right there. The girl wasn’t even into him and gave him nothing at the table for those wines. He then took her upstairs for what I’m sure was over 200. When the waiter comes to me and a girl I make it clear to both, no wine. The girl never cares. If she did, I’d excuse her from my table and move on to the next one.

Great reviews, Ron! You covered a lot in your three reviews that are sure to help future mongers. I did want to know more about your weed pen. Did you do anything to hide it when crossing into TJ? Reason I ask is there is now a canine at the metal detector. I’d like to bring weed in but am terrified of having a hiccup crossing into Mexico.

I live in an area that is predominantly Latino. When I’m out running errands or at work and I see a fine Mexican chick (which is daily) my mind will wander to the girls I’ve had in TJ. This also prompts me to start thinking about my next trip to the promise land.

Replying to what others have said about the construction, that was started before Adelitas closed. One was an offsite hotel/apartment building for the bar girls and one was an expansion of their hotel. I believe the offsite hotel was nearly completed and the Adelitas owner is trying to rent those rooms to generate some income. The banner on the building mentioned is just an attempt by the owner to keep Adelitas marketing going so that if they are able to reopen they can recapture some market share.

Everything I’ve heard is that there is no reopening date in site. The owners appealed the governments decision to shut them down, and that appeal has not been looked at or touched. Adelitas will be back at some point, but based on how little anyone knows about it, I’d guess it’s not going to be this year.

I’ve never experienced any sort of wait going into Mexico. That sounds so frustrating.

This is my home club and I can verify that nothing about this review is accurate. It’s one of the worst strip clubs I’ve ever been to. We drive an hour away to get to a better club. The dancers are mid at best

Cmon man, don’t give in to their $150 ask. MAX you should pay is 120, and even that’s pushing it. If you say no most will go down in price. If they don’t, then move on. Too many dudes just give the 150, that’s why they all ask for 150. You keep this up and they will start asking for 175

Nice write up. I plan on spending some time in Chicago this week. More of us mongers need to spend money at Chicago. As many have said, the only way to stop HK’s attempts to empty your wallet is to spend our money elsewhere.
