Still a great eye-candy club!

It’s been a while since I paid a visit to HK bar on a Friday evening, coz my usual days are mostly weekdays ( I definitely prefer that, after witnessing all sorts of delays in both going into Mexico by foot, and the horrendous traffic on 5-Fwy driving to San-Diego/Tijuana ).

The drive in the early afternoon time to San-Diego/Tijuana must have taken a good 3-hrs plus on 5-South ( from Long-Beach area ). In the past on weekdays,I have never witnessed the same sort of traffic-delays, not sure what that was all about but it surely sucked big time.

Then to top that and making the experience feel even worse was the long line of people of atleast 200+ waiting in line to enter the border-crossing area into TJ (the long line of people stretched all the from behind Jack’s parking-lot area all the up to the gate-entrance ). Luckily, being a US citizen I didn’t have to get into yet another line of 100+ people that formed quickly as soon as you passed through the gated-area into Mexico. Overall, the entire border-crossing by foot into Mexico this time around must have taken an additional 1 1/2 hour compared to the usual 15-mins walk on weekdays. It just felt like a few buses load of people had been dropped off on this early Friday evening to cross the border. Due to this unforeseen rush of people that I’ve ever witnessed, the cab-pricing suddenly bumped up to $10 ( from border area to HK bar, one way trip ).
