New Favorite over Hong Kong

Wondered into Chicago club about 8:00 pm on a cold and wet Wednesday night. This club is quickly replacing HK as my favorite Zona Norte location, more on that coming.

I crossed the border twice last week, once on Sunday once on Wednesday. Neither time had an issue entering Mexico, a glance at my passport and I was waved through. I paid all the taxi drivers $6, did not negotiate. Border crossing back in the US was about an hour at 10:00 pm on Sunday night, and was 5 minutes (no wait, just had to walk) at 11:00 pm on Wednesday night. I did Uber from downtown San Diego to the border, was generally around $20 with plenty of availability.

On to Chicago club, I was staying in Cascada's but needed to get away from the HK crowd. Walk over to Chicago club felt safe, the only thing I noticed this time in the Zona was a larger presence of the National Guard.
