I understand his reluctance. I just go about it differently. I make friends with the bouncers, managers, and the rest of the staff. Some of that is by tipping, but a lot of it is being personable. Asking about their lives, commenting on their tattoos, etc. I want the staff on my side, that way the ROBs avoid me or know that they aren't going to win.
