@RonJax - so I read the website as..
70% Off Hotel Mon & Tues, obviously cheaper rooms on those days. (Off keyword)
20% Off in Hotel* - I read as items you buy in hotel (in was the keyword) and not off hotel so glad to see your confirmation that Wednesday through Sunday all have the same discount at 20%.
Is that better than before as I didn't think there was a discount on Friday and Saturday before but I just can't remember?

OpIllini!! I thought of you eating at Azuls...lol. We were there about a month and a half ago and now the new elevators are put in. They have a two elevators next to each other and the another, around the corner. They are functional but closed to guests as they are doing the tile work in front of them every level but I saw a staff member go into the single one around the corner. Although there was some construction noise, not nearly as bad now. Also compared to last time, Tuesday was dead around 1pm in the afternoon. Upstairs only had 2 tables being used, it was empty. 5pm picked up, all the outside tables looking down on the main stage was full and the ladies packed Las Chavelas I guess waiting there time before going to HK.

Since 1963 ...
As of last week, there was a huge banner, scaffolding covering about 5 stories high with Adelitas advertised on the big construction project on exterior to Cascadas. No time frame or anything but doesn't seem to be forgotten.

If I knew Global Access would allow me to use the Sentri like, I would have gotten that because you could interview at local major airports. I saw nothing about Global Access having that benefit in regards going up front to the Sentri line so I went that route.
What was weird, this trip I entered Mexico two different days and both days coming into Mexico, there wasn't anyone checking passports, I walked straight to the baggage scanner and then I was in. OPIllini experienced the same days before I arrived so getting in was a easy as just walking though the customs building.

Hey, not a bad one. Honestly as crazy as that sounds, to me as long as it isn't illegal, they shouldn't deny. I didn't lie but could word it like, why were you in TJ, "I came for a vacation".
I'm my case, I was considering a new remote from home location for cheaper rent.

Oh and on this trip, I actually went to my Sentri appointment kind of regretting thinking that I was going to have to deal with the same attitude for a longer time but that was so NOT the case. The agent was nice and helpful and the Sentri interview was so easy (like standing at a window at DMV). It was just a few basic questions (like have I ever been convicted or been in jail, confirmed who lived with me at home, etc) and then when he did ask why I wanted the Sentri, he prefaced it with "please don't worry and read into the question" before asking. That was it.
I'll look to see if there is Sentri thread already with the information, if not I will post my experience.

This exact thing was on my mind because I was curious what they could ask and what I need or how to answer. Last year it got uncomfortable because the agent's job younger was at a newer built In and Out in my area that I live and he was wanting me to describe the area with questions which is fine because if I were lying, he would know. I answered them exactly. Then he kept on about my "vacation" stay and asked if I was married (which I wonder why I need to answer) with a horrible attitude and then asked what was in my backpack. I said just papers and chargers and stuff and then he "threatened" to look through it. I just handed him the bag and now a bit frustrated, "I said go ahead" and then he said,"you could go". I actually left angry because I treated him with respect and was cordial until the end.
I just went back this week and this was the first time I used Pedwest (twice) and both times, it was a simple question "where you going?" and handed me the ID, the other was actual two easy questions, "what were you doing in TJ (I say vacation)" and where you live? Then agent gave me back ID. It could be small sample size but my two times going through Pedwest was so much better (will describe in TR).

@tbot - oh yeah, I didn't think about the ones in a group together. I'm not worried about rejection at a strip club but I also don't like asking one in a group because (again I could be wrong so I'm asking) I feel they are less interested in others and more about themselves when they do that. So I don't bother but now I think I missed out and next time (in a few weeks or so) I'll see.

@Jascoi - hanging out touching, rubbing and more takes a lot of time for some money but really I feel like it is a lot of bang for my buck with the right girl (looks and attitude). So if you only buy one ficha or none and just negotiate for upstairs, then what do you do the rest of the time because 30 to 60 minutes can go fast? Not at all trying to say what I do is the "right or "better" way, just really curious on others approaches. I'm my case I drink and play with the ladies downstairs for a few hours and then I'm hot and ready to go upstairs for an hour and I am beat and now can relax, go eat, take a good 3-4 hour nap. Later the the evening, rinse and repeat and that is a whole day for me.
@bang69 - thanks for the warning. As I just mentioned to Jascoi, I usually just drink for a free hours at a time and when I do that much I stay at HK and Cascadas, eating at Azul.

Pretty amazing timing. I had planned about a month ago to arrive Monday noon and stay until Wednesday at Cascadas. Was getting ready for the trip and got a warning from airline of weather so had to cancel room and flight. Feels like someone is telling me not to go down there for a while...lol

@mongo1964 - yeah, I was going to take a cab to the bank but figured it was either do that and get pesos for a day or just get a ride to the border which isn't much further and get dollars. My fault, should have brought enough.
