Thanks Cristobal and Tbot. Right back at ya with the respect. One last thing. When I negotiate with them, it's usually playful and flirtatious too, so it's not all serious and usually doesn't kill the mood. With the last two chicas, we were hugging and whispering in one another's ear while we negotiated. To outsiders, we probably looked like we had a history and weren't discussing price.
When they stick to a high price, I'll sometimes joke and say in Spanish that it's really easy work for them because I have a tiny penis and cum quickly. That usually makes them laugh and the negotiation gets more playful.
Anyway, even though I'm hardheaded, I do read and digest other people's ways of doing things and it sometimes changes my thought process and aproach. So, thanks for sharing.
I'm glad I didn't forget my checkbook today, because my chica wouldn't accept cash! :)

Cristobal, I think you are a really good dude. We do things different ways and there's nothing wrong with that. I'm just going to give one more perspective from my end.
I'm not exaggerating when I say this. The worst arriba I've ever had was the one and only time I paid $100 for 30 minutes. After that experience, I realized paying top dollar or what the chica asks does not always equal a good experience. After that I started negotiating.
A few things on negotiating. One, I never try to negotiate below $80. I accept that $80 is the fair market rate and I never try to lowball a chica below the market rate. Two, negotiating is very common in Mexico. While it may kill the mood for you and some others, these girls are professionals. They do this for a living and they are negotiating all the time. So, negotiating in and of itself won't ruin the experience with the chica.
I've had tons of great arribas this year with chicas who I consider 8's and up. The most I've paid has been $85 for 30 minutes and 2,000 pesos for an hour or longer. I even had a chica drive 45 minutes to see me on her off day and she was only expecting 1,600 pesos, but I gave her 2,000 pesos and she was thrilled. Negotiating with these chicas beforehand didn't equate into negative experiences in any of the cases.
I just had an arriba earlier today with who I considered to be the hottest HK chica working this afternoon. She wanted $160 for an hour. We agreed on $80 for a half hour. After the session, she asked me for my number and said she wanted to visit me at my apartment the next time to cook for me. I said that sounds great, but we'll need to discuss price because I don't know how much you'll want. She said $80 for an hour is fine. I said I'll give you $100. So, sometimes if the chicas click with you, it's not all about the money for them.
Last thing... Again, I think you are a good guy. Guys that choose to pay them what they ask or don't sweat the extra $20 they ask for are treating them well. I don't knock anyone for doing that. Being nice to a girl and treating her well and paying her well is cool. I'm sure the girls appreciate it and you'll be treated well in the future.
However, keep in mind that some of these girls are rich by Mexican standards. For some of the less attractive girls or some of the B or C team girls so to speak, they may not get a lot of arribas, so money might be tighter for them. In their case, I agree that the extra $20 may mean a great deal to them.
However, with the hotter looking chicas, those girls are raking in cash. I know a couple that grew up completely broke and now have over $50k in cash in their checking accounts, another $15k in cash under their mattress, and multiple $1,000 iphones that guys gave them. That's not bad for an American. For a Mexican girl in her 20's that makes her rich in Mexico. So, for these girls, an extra $20 isn't making a huge difference in their lives. Heck, I'd argue that some of these girls have more money than a bunch of their customers.
Anyway, just wanted to say all of that, because even though I try to negotiate a fair price, it doesn't diminish the quality of my experiences with the girls or my relationships with them.
Everyone has to do what is most comfortable for them. At the end of the day, it's all about having fun in TJ and building lasting memories. We only get one go around, so might as well enjoy it.

One last suggestion Kman. You wrote that all the girls wanted payment up front, which eliminates your leverage. If the girl refuses to accept payment after, I've found that nearly all of them are agreeable to 50% payment up front and 50% after. This is especially good for hour sessions, so they don't leave early. They get some mon

Also, Kman it's generally understood in the club with all the girls that they are quoting for 30 minutes. If you want an hour, you have to specify that with the girl beforehand or she'll assume it's a 30 minute arriba. Some will stay longer, but most will stick to the 30 minute time limit, especially when it's busy.

I've also stopped asking them how much, because they always throw out a high number.
I make them my offer of $80 for 30 minutes or $100 for an hour and see what they say. Some accept, some quote me a higher price. If they quote me higher, I usually give them a polite no thanks maybe another time, and walk away. Sometimes as I'm walking away, they say wait stop, okay let's go.
Also, I find that the ones who accept are usually more into it. The ones who quote much higher prices and won't budge are usually kind of sharky to begin with and they are more distant in the room anyway. So, no reason to overpay for a bad experience unless you just really have to have a specific girl. That's my 2 peso advice anyway. Everybody has their own methods that they like and that works for them.

I'm still finding what I consider 8's and up for $80 for 30 minutes or $100 for an hour. You won't get 100% accepting those prices, but I'm getting more than 50% accepting. I don't go on Friday or Saturday nights though. Usually late afternoons and early evenings. Some guys claim to still get $60 arribas during slow times, but I suspect it's with less attractive girls. Not sure.

Also, El Albrije over by Pueblo Amigo and Deja Vu is supposed to be the most upscale and hopping nightclub in all of TJ. I have not been, but here it's full of hot chicas.

Right in front of HK you are usually fine. Whenever I've been stopped, it's been on Constitucion or the fringes of la zona while entering or leaving on foot. My new strategy is to enter la zona from Ninos Heroes. I haven't been stopped on that street yet. You just have to beware of tranny pickpocketers on one side of that street. Lol. So, I try walking on the other side by the laundromat and it seems to be smooth sailing. For now anyway.
I've heard of cops stopping taxis and shaking down drunk tourusts too, so the HK limo may be the best bet going back to the border at night.

I worded that poorly. I meant to say the police seem to target all gringos and tourists in zona norte. In addition, I've seen them searching local Mexican guys who look like they may be drug dealers or up to no good.

Lastly Papi, as for rising to the occasion...
If I'm with a hot chica that I'm attracted to and I'm not rushed, I'm good to go 100% of the time. However, if a chica undresses and looks a lot worse without clothes than she did with clothes on, sometimes mentally I just can't get into it. For instance, one time a chica had two boobs completely different sizes and it took me a long time to eventually get up. Another time, a chica was a lot heavier out of clothes and visually I just couldn't get into it, since I'm into really thin women.
Sometimes, 30 minutes feels too rushed for me and I get a little nervous, which is a problem. So, now I either get an hour session or I do a 5 minute lapdance followed by a 30 minute session and I'm good to go.

I've been stopped by TJ cops about 6 or 7 times over the last few years. They've only stopped me when I've been alone. I've been with chicas in zona norte and centro countless times and they've NEVER stopped me with a chica. Only when I'm alone. They seem to target Gringos and Mexicans who look like they may be drug dealers, rateros, or up to no good.
They are always looking for drugs, to see if you have a vape pen on you, to see if you are drunk, or for any reason to shake you down for a bribe. They've never stolen money from me or gotten a bribe from me, but they've gotten money from a lot of people that I know.
The key is, if they search you, take your money out of your wallet and hold it in your hand separately while they search your pockets. They will let you do this and you'll be fine. People who have not done this have reported having some money taken while they searched their wallet. They are usually drunk and one cop distracts them while talking to them and the 2nd cop goes through their wallet and takes whatever they can get away with.

Papi, I was never fortunate enough to drive a model T. I had to walk 10 miles to school, in the snow. Each way.
So, I withdraw pesos from ATM's in Tijuana all the time. I use the pesos for everything from groceries to restaurants. The ATM machines almost always dispense 500 peso notes and 200 peso notes. So, if I'm going to Zona Norte, I like to have a lot of 20 peso notes or $1 bills for tips. Tips for the girls, tips for the waiters, tip for the robe guy, tip for the guy that cleans the room, etc. Otherwise I'm stuck with "big" bills in pesos and it's tough to get change. It's just much easier to do it beforehand.
The banks in TJ all close at about 3pm. If I can get to a bank before 3pm, I'll exchange a 500 peso note for a bunch of 20 peso notes and I'm good to go. However, if it's later than 3pm, my only option is a casa de cambio. So, I'll exchange pesos to get about $20 in singles for tips. Otherwise, I use pesos for just about everything else.

I'm pretty sure WCG was being sarcastic. Check cashing agencies don't exist in Mexico, like they do all over the U.S. You'd need to accompany your girl back to the U.S. to cash the check at a check cashing agency.
Lots of casa de cambios, but they just exchange currencies in Mexico and don't cash checks. I seriously doubt any bank in Mexico is going to cash a U.S. check for a girl who has no account.
Anyway, good luck with your plan.
Please let us know when you find the first chica in TJ that accepts a check from you. It will be a newsworthy event.

10:42 AM PT -- TMZ Sports has obtained the arrest video from the prostitution bust ... and it's clear as day Gainey offered $60 for sex acts to an undercover officer posing as a prostitute.
During the exchange, captured by a hidden surveillance camera, Gainey negotiates a price for a "quick visit" and then tells the officer he's in town "the rest of the week" -- clearly implying he could be a repeat customer.
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, after Gainey handed over the cash, cops busted in and arrested the golfer ... and it sounds like something you'd see on Dateline.
The video is obviously embarrassing and serves as a reminder as to why Robert Kraft is fighting like hell to keep video from his prostitution case under wraps forever.
Pro golfer Tommy Gainey -- famously known as Tommy "Two Gloves" -- was arrested in a major prostitution sting in Florida ... TMZ Sports has learned.
The 44-year-old was 1 of 124 people busted in an undercover investigation in Polk County, Florida dubbed, "Operation Santa's Naughty List."
According to officials, Gainey was arrested for soliciting a prostitute -- and is facing a 1st-degree misdemeanor solicitation charge.
The sting op was a 6-day investigation using undercover detectives to target prostitution, human trafficking and child predators.
Cops say they used Internet advertisements to arrange meetings between the detectives and suspects.
Officials presented a "Naughty List" showing all 124 people arrested -- Gainey is on the board.
Jail records show Gainey was booked on Dec. 8 and was released on Dec. 9 after posting bail.
Sheriff Grady Judd explained the situation moments ago ...
"He's married. He told us he was here for a charity golf event and it was supposed to be in the next morning tee off. He didn't make it. He was a scratch."
Judd added, "We charged him with soliciting. He missed his tee time the next morning."
Gainey has been a pro golfer since 1997 and joined the PGA Tour in 2008, where he gained notoriety for wearing gloves on both hands, unusual in the sport.
He's never won a major tourney but he's become a fan favorite for the way he dresses and plays -- in particular, he has a unique swing.
Gainey has had major sponsors over the years -- from Under Armour to Adams Golf and A.O. Smith.

I have a close relationship with some TJ chicas and know their real names. Even so, they still don't want a check and can't do anything with one. If they had a dollar denominated account, it might be a different story, but none of them have dollar denominamed bank accounts.
