I went to Wonderland and Lido Lounge last week and they have both hired more dancers and the calibre has gone up. Wonderland has some really hot strppers that are amazing on the stage and pole. Lido still has some GND types that are singers, actors, artists, college students. It is a good mix.

That group of customers came early on the first Thursday night at Wonderland when all the girls were in the dressing room filling in the required paperwork in order to work at the Wonderland Club. I had to wait nearby an hour for the girls to come down. But it was worth the wait. Guys, you need to be a little patient with a new venue. There were plenty of hot "girl next door" types.

I have been to the Hustler Club and the Honey Booths are a great value. For $200 you get a private room with a curtain for a full 15 minutes. The $200 includes the tip for the dancer. That comes out to about $40 a song for a private lap dance. Well worth the extra money for the extra privacy.

Let's stay on topic. I am a long-term loyal Member. I liked the Old Lido locations like Space Ibiza but there were no private rooms. I also went last week to the new location on West 511st Street which is in a strip club like the one on West 45th Street which is now closed down.
I liked the 51st Street location because it is a fully licensed strip club and it offers adult entertainment including topless dancing throughout the club, and plenty of private rooms starting at 15 minutes, and a full liquor bar with premium drinks.
There is even a heated outdoor deck with a cigar lounge.

Agree with @san_jose_guy that Private Party/Membership model is the way of the future. Because of strict zoning laws, Le Rouge Lounge is operating within a traditional strip club. However, we are a private members club. We also now have a Red Diamond membership that allows a Member and accompanying guest free admission for 12 months. The cost is $1,500 per year. We are now offering it at a discount price of only $600.

I was at the Grand Opening too and plan on going back on Thursday. I did not mind the short elevator ride to the nightclub and it was a nice diversion. I brought 2 girls with me, bought them drinks and we had a chance to chat while listening to the DJ music at the nightclub.

On Nov 19th LeRouge Lounge had its reopening party at a really cool loft in Hell's Kitchen. it was almost as large as some of the former venues like Space Ibiza and the Union Square Model Lounge. It had a great lap dance area with brand new leather sofas. It was a good mix of girls, including some original Lido girls.

I am from New York City and have been to Le Rouge Lounge (unlike the above Members who have Commented) and agree with Reviewer @PremiumEvents that the venue was recently completely renovated and is absolutely beautiful. However, my experience with the women were mixed, as some gave great lap dances and others were just alright.

My budget is not private rooms and filet mignon, but I still had a great time at the new Lido Lounge at West 39th Street. There is no extra charge for the semi-private lap dance rooms and lap dances are the standard $20 a song. Still the best deal in town.

If you have not been to either in a few years now, the long-term Lido customers and dancers did not like it at Scores. The place was cavernous and had a commercial strip club vibe and everybody was mixed in with the Scores dancers. The new location on 39th Street is much better and is completely private and segregated.
Joe was always the "face" of Lido and was involved way before Steve in the lap dance parties.

I got an email from a "Lido Room" claiming that the Lido party was still at Scores. All I got was free admission to Scores which was not worth the cab fare to 11th Avenue. Checked my emails again and went to the real Lido which was the "Lido Lounge" on 39th Street. All the hot Lido girls were on 39th Street and I had a great time, because I was not being harassed by the professional strippers from Scores.

The private Lido VIP lounge is on the 2nd floor and you need a VIP wristband to be admitted. There is a private bar and 2 lap dance rooms just for Lido customers and Lido dancers. Much better than the last location at Scores where you were mixed in with the strippers from Scores who would interrupt and annoy you when you were trying to talk to a Lido dancer.

Lido Lounge moved from the Scores location 3 weeks ago to a new lounge on 39th Street off 5th Avenue. The new new lounge is more like the Old Lido, but better location and more luxurious. Prices are reasonable too. Free admission and free drink 7 PM to 8 PM, and then $30 for members and guests.

GACAclub, this thread was started in 2010 by b0ssh0gg who was a member since 2009. The thread was specifically asking about the Lido Room. From what I heard, the Lido Room was Manhattan's original floating lap dance party and the rest are the copy cats. We New Yorkers are simply commenting on Lido. The problem is that jealous copycat competitors are giving misleading information on Lido, and members who are not from New York want to put their two cents in.

I would agree that the Lido Room has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 2009 and 2010. However, the review from July 2010 by user perfect_gentleman is a false review by a cutthroat competitor. Perfect_gentleman is no other than Rob Cohen of Saint Venus Theater. If you ever get the SVT emails, "perfect gentleman" is one of his pet expressions and it is seen several times throughout each of Rob's emails.
When I went to the Lido Room in 2009 and 2010, there were not 2 or 3 dancers, but 12 to 15 dancers. Now, there are 30 to 35 dancers at an event. It was not shabby, it was comfy and cool. The new venues are several notches better, however.
There was never any hint of a bedroom somewhere upstairs. Upstairs was a restaurant, hookah lounge and a kitchen. It was a clean club back in 2010, and it is a clean club in 2015.

I was there last week and it was $20 a song in the semi-private lap dance room and the dancer allowed me to touch her boobs and the bouncer did not bother me.
