I agree about not wanting a stranger parking your car. But when you park your own car, why does the valet get your keys? So they can refuse to give you your keys back if they think you owe something. Then at FC they won't let you park your own car. Did you get your valet fee back when they didn't let you in because of your vest?

Seriously, I could easily read a bunch of reviews about a bar, and write my own without ever going near the place. I was a good student in college. This review by itself may not have all the information a newbie may need, but the information is current and useful for regulars.

They're all hit or miss. Try lusty, gspot. Between the 3 I almost always get drained.

I think reviews serve 2 purposes, to give regulars up to date information and to give newbies general information so they can make informed decisions. For regulars, I point out difference in ogd and gspot, ogd had 1 vehicle in the lot, gspot's lot was packed. Lusty's used to be the place for Saturday afternoon with the hot redhead singing billy joel to everyone at the bar, one after another. No more. I didn't give a lot of general information, that can be found in other reviews. I thought it would be useful for regulars to hear about my whole afternoon adventure.

I can go to bogies or h8n, get a beer, and leave for $15. While there I can sit anywhere and not pay a "booth fee". When I leave I don't have to ask anyone for my car. Veterans get in free. For what it costs to go to FC or LS and get 1 drink I can get dances

I've been to both Lusty's and Lucky's many times. The parking lot is positively Lucky's. I often see cars in lucky's lot that are blocked in. I've never seen a car blocked in at the gravel parking lot by Lusty's, it would be hard to even make that happen. I'm always careful at lucky's not to block anyone in and not to park where I could get blocked in.

Ever since I can remember vip dances have been $20 at bogies, hanks north and the cricket. Monday is $10 dance day at hanks, tuesday is $10 dances at bogies.

Your main mistake was paying before the dance ended. Your second mistake was not discussing everything before going back, you need to discuss what service you'll get and what it will cost. Every time I've paid in advance I've gotten bad service. As soon as she asks for the money in advance I say "this isn't going to work" and I get up and walk out. If I've only been back for 30 seconds I pay nothing. If she comes back with "it's ok, you can pay after" I might relent and stay. Of course you've had a drink (vodka), they have your car keys, so she can demand her money, and you can't just leave. They don't have to give you your keys, they can say you were drunk. That's why I never go to a club that has MANDATORY valet parking. Think about other businesses that have valet parking, like restaurants and hotels, I've never seen any that made the valet parking mandatory. The ONLY reason to make valet parking mandatory is so they can hold your keys hostage (and go through your personal belongings looking for something to steal).

I was there today about 2pm. An old favorite has returned and said she'd be there days all week. I don't want to say her name here. I had a great time. Lots of guys waiting their turn I suppose.
