I had to see what it was like.....

I went March 2. This is about the last place in Akron I hadn’t been to yet. I keep reading the reviews and getting more curious, but it is about an hour away and takes some planning, so it took a while.

The parking lot is paved and not in bad shape. It is actually on the corner of Main and Stanton so the lot is very visible from a busy street. The building is run down looking, but all the reviews have said that over and over.

When I arrived the bartender/manager was smoking outside the door. Surprise, nobody was smoking inside this day. Inside is a long room, not too narrow. The bar runs down the right side practically all the way. On the left near the entrance way is a stage that doesn’t seem to be used…. Almost ever.

On the other side of the entrance is the “back up VIP” it is dark and has curtains making whatever happens only the knowledge of the two participants. The main VIP is down at the other end of the bar, and people going seemed to be stepping down to get in there. Toward the back on the left there was another place that seemed to be where the dancers change. I didn’t walk down there so I don’t have details.

There has been much written about the restroom. None of it is good. Going in the door this day I saw a sign “No Public Restrooms” . I suspect the health department made them stop letting customers in there.
