Uncertainty is how you take something which in classical mechanics would be deterministic, and turn it into probability.
And this probability is how you get electron tunneling in situations where classical mechanics would say they could not cross a potential barrier.
And some look to this as the explanation for occult and para psychology phenomenon, which I think is what Subraman was getting at in replying to my introduction of Satan in response to Nicespice's examples.

Centerfolds is one of the most expensive for this private space. I hear $1200 per hour. I think this is one of the the highest in the nation.
You only have a chance at a good situation in the No-Alcohol clubs. Most of those you list are alcohol, and that makes it that much easier for the authorities to enforce.
No alcohol should be CH, MBOT (if still running), New Century, Centerfolds, Little Darlings, Garden of Eden, Roaring Twenties( if still operating).
As far as I am concerned SF is a hell hole strip club wise and it is because of the high real estate costs and because Deja Vu has taken over.
The problem is not just high costs. It is because DV has developed a clip joint business model where they prohibit front room friendlyness. THey try to make Front Room Feel Up And Make Out Sessions impossible. So you get the girl into the back room and she just runs her number on you, she has not opened up to you.
With AMPs San Francisco is awesome. Basic deal, 50 or 60 min in the room with the girl of your choice, and at a reasonable cost.

Quantum mechanics has always been a huge factor in solid state physics, going back to the 1920s. It is now that semiconductor dimensions and momentums are getting small enough and large enough to matter in the devices, not just in the crystalline solids. But it was in these Floating Gate non-volatile memory devices that tunneling was first deliberately used. And it does depend on the uncertainty principle, which has also been of interest to occultists, and I think that suggestion of my mention of Satan in relation to Nicespice's example is what Subraman was getting at.

The Heisenberg principle arises from wave particle duality. Sometimes particles will be seen to be acting as particles, and other times they will be seen to be acting as waves. Not just a function of size, but also of momentum, which is closely related to energy.

Based on all that has been written, this is clearly one of the more out there places in California.
Seems like rather than buying dances you could probably select a girl that you want to be bedding down with, then demonstrate generosity and charm and get her completely off script and get a Front Room Feel Up and Make Out Session going, then take her into the back room, and then get her outside to continue on a mattress somewhere.

Not quite getting down to the size of atoms, but getting very small and quantum mechanics does matter. But quantum mechanics has been how we predicted the band structure by which we are able to use semiconductors.

Tunneling is about uncertainty which is at the bottom of quantum mechanics, and this is how electrons are able to get beyond potential barriers in a way which classical mechanics would not allow for.
Speaking to the OP and to Nicespice's example, and to Subraman's response, the Uncertainty Principle can be evoked to explain the inexplicable. And you can relate this to the occult.

But the problem is that while yes there is a new kind of science built around Chaos Theory, or more formally Dynamic Systems Theory, this has nothing to do with the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.
Dynamic systems will display chaotic behavior, but they are still entirely deterministic. It is not due to noise, or round-off error, and it is not due to HUP. It is simply that you have high degrees of non-linearity and that it is impossible to ever have enough accuracy in the initial conditions.
In an earlier era there was also interest in trying to explain phenomenon of parapsychology via Heisenberg. These people, known as the Berkeley Fundamental Physics Group.

Today, in the neo-liberal era, it is usually a matter of Munchausen's Syndrome By Proxy. Though now they've gone to calling it Facetious Disorder, or just Medical Child Abuse.
The parent is not happy with the state of their own life, and they do not take responsibility of the choices they have made, so they take it out on the child. They decide that the child is an embarrassment, and they look to find in their child the locus of original sin. So they bring the doctors in.
These are usually highly intelligent parents too, but they have not learned to live in ways which honor their intelligence. They have instead learned to live by fitting in. And so their child is a threat to them.
So in this Neo-Liberal Era they have resurrected a concept from the Nazi Eugenics Movement.

into the ambulance he was waiving and talking to people. So that was positive news.
So I don't know if it was really an overdose, or if fentanyl can just do that, or if he had somehow gotten an irregular batch.
He was back by that evening and I talked to him in the morning. He looked just fine. He told me though that he was "almost dead" and he said that he had just "made a bunch of bad choices."
I got him to affirm that he is keeping himself safe now, and then again the same this morning.
That group that is with him they are ruffians. Everyone says that they use methamphetamines. And this could be, though I do not directly know this. R. has said that he is a lifelong meth user. He ties it to being put on Ritalin as a child.
I told him that I am sure that that effected him, but it shouldn't mean that he is condemned to drugs forever.
I might know that channel though which he is getting his drugs. Would not bother me a bit if that guy were shut down.
Anyway, closest I have been to fentanyl to date.
