4play is probably the most upscale club. But I haven't been since the reopening. From what I've experienced in la I'd skip the clubs for now.

I wouldn't make any plans to come to California for now. The recall election is next week. Gavin is probably going to survive but the big thing is he will feel free to impose more restrictions once he's through the recall. Right now he's sending state stimulus checks to make sure he's liked.

San Diego only has one topless club with alcohol and a few nude clubs. On top of that, the entertainer license from the city is about $400 per year.

Blahblah in my experience with the few clubs I've been to. The clubs are killing themselves. Like some require bottle service starting at around $500 for a guy to sit down. Cover charges from $60 to $100 with no lap dances and no vip areas open. Instead guys just throwing money at girls on the floor and on the stage. With up to 4 girls having to share the money. So lots of drama and fights. The only time it's really profitable for dancers is when there's a special guest rapper. But then house fees are like $350. There are some regular clubs but making anything there without extras is hard. Then the upscale clubs are slow. Just too expensive for a lot of guys to come regularly. Like Vegas prices.

In northern Cali like the bay area a lot of girls go to reno. Just like souther Cali girls go to Vegas or Phoenix.


In LA girls are better off working weekly parties at clubs than they are working clubs regularly. Choose a few nights at a few clubs and rotate between them.

Die Happy Tonight (the company behind Rosewood in NYC) had a "mansion party" earlier in the summer that I couldn't make, and admission was like $150. They haven't done another one, so must have been a flop.

Have to say, when deciding to move to LA (albeit during covid) did not expect it to be this hard to find hot women to give $$$ to.

^ that sounds nuts to me. LA has no shortage of beautiful women. I'm guessing that the clubs have gotten so inhospitable that a lot of the prettier and smarter girls have left for the time being.

4Play I heard the quality went down a little but the club tries to play up its Westside location. Like synn beverly hills which is actually ghetto.

LA has in my opinion the hottest women I've seen jn any city.

They won't be 10s but you get a lot less tattoos or at least that was the pre pandemic standard they went by.

Because of COVID, and because of CA AB5, people are looking to something beyond the Retail Strip Clubs.

And then I think more and more people, just gentle movement to acceptance of UHM. Maybe it is the influence of TJ.

People want the venues they visit to develop to what a strip club can be. They don't want frustrations, they expect it to be See - Want - Get.

So I am very interested to learn about these new private party venues.

Private stripper parties are like strip clubs but the venue is different. The ones run by legit clubs like spearmint rhino or platinum anyways.

They're not like amps.

But it gets around COVID rules and around AB5.

It doesn't make any exception to the rules against See Want Get, but in practice, people are going to do what they want, and there is no realistic manner in which the law can interdict it.

So it may not have that kind of therapeutic look which some AMPs sometimes have, but it is an all needs satisfied venue.

This was back in June and I couldn't go. According to this, price says $300 but I'm pretty sure it was less the week leading up to it. AFAIK this was a one time thing.

There were several clubs in Ohio at one time that would provide entertainment at private parties. The girls would be on call if they wanted their names on the list to work private parties. The girl set her own limits and was paid by the club. Tips solicited and received were kept by the girl. They did bachelor and batchelotette parties, birthday parties etc. Some girls would go full service or bbbjcim. All completely private at the customers home.

Um, LA still hasn't really "re-opened" in the sense that it was before Covid. I was there last Saturday with a friend in downtown. It becomes a ghost town by 10pm. I haven't been to a strip club in almost two years but regular clubs don't seem to have come back at all yet in the LA area. I could be wrong though. Just basing this on downtown.

The vast majority of clubs aren't downtown and they're doing good. Civvie clubs do better than strip clubs.

Some of the clubs outside the city seemed to have recovered but I’ve never heard of any hostess clubs. Honesty, LA ain’t that great anymore and even Vegas is better.

Los Angeles has 3x Hostess Dancing Clubs. Starlight, Topical, La Grand. It used to be many more and some in or near COI.

We need to make new places using the Membership Club / Private Party Model. Then there don't need to be any fixed limits.

If you're talking about Asian hostess clubs maybe there are more but for the traditional American style hostess clubs as far as I know only LA Grand, Starlight, and possibly Tropical are still open.

To explain, you pick a girl and dance or sit on a couch and talk or cuddle. Extra mileage is between you and the girl and what you can get away with without security noticing. LA Grand is known as the grinding club on the dance floor, Starlight has less mileage but its easy to arrange OTC, and I have no clue about Tropical since it was raided years ago but at one time it was basically a brothel with people openly having sex on the couches. Fantasy was the nicer of the bunch, cleaner, classier, moderate to high mileage, but its gone now.

These clubs were the remnant of early 20th century taxi dance clubs which disappeared everywhere except in LA. In the early 2000s there were probably a dozen of them still operating mostly in downtown LA with one or two in COI.

Asian hostess clubs may or may not be similar but I do know some of them won't even let non-Asians in, and they are extremely pricey.

Would recommend trying LA Grand once if you get the chance. Its a little rough in terms of the customers but safe inside. Not as nice as Fantasy was though.

THere are written accounts of it going further, and there is often extra money in play then, but that is not the norm.
