Techman: re air dance cost—if you have to ask, you can’t afford it. $250 for 10 minutes. There may be expense account oil, tech lobbyists who can put this on their expense accounts. This is DC, after all and nothing makes sense. But no, there are not any Victoria Secret super models at Camelot.

I heard from a dancer who checked out LV cubs a couple of months ago saying pimps are all over the place at the clubs. That may explain the availability of OTC sessions, which in previous years seemed to be verbotin and too dangerous for the dancers who feared being busted by undercover cops.

I keep hearing more about the lap dance booths from dancers I’ve known from other clubs. Apparently the girls will lap dance topless and allow roaming above the waist.
It’s way too expensive for my tastes though: $100 for 10 minutes. But these dancers tell me they still get much of their income from these dances. The dancers get $40 out of the $100. They say they can make $500 on an average night. One told me she sold a hour long $1000 VIP skybox session and she got $400.
I went on a Friday and they didn’t have a cover charge and the VIP lounge was open for free. It was quite pleasant, the music was not obtrusive and it was a nice atmosphere.
I heard a second hand rumor that at least one of the girls did OTC.
I’m not sure what the club has done to get away with the anti touching rule in DC but the girls tell me management has told then they are compliant. I suppose you could say DC now has a lap dance club. whether it will be the major selling point for Cliakroom remains to be seen, given the high price.

It would be a real service if someone would TOFTT and try out the lap dance rooms for us. At least two girls told me they are doing lap dances. Just not my thing.

I went to Mpire last night. It was surprisingly busy for a Monday night after a holiday. Girls left a lot to be desired, though. The only one in shape, Sonja, was doing some very raunchy dancing with contact on the customers. They seem to have some new bouncers who were friendly. The waitresses were model quality.

I'm sure I was at Tittilations. I've read there is a more private cigar room area which I described as a champagne room. Cory said she was a nursing student. Marina said she's worked there a long time.

I've been turned away several times by theAsian doorman saying they are only doing "bottle service". I've since found out this is a scam by the doorman to get tips.
Mpire has a lot of former Scores bouncers, so there is a certain Mafia vibe that comes with these guys.

Finishing my note. The problem is that after tipping them a $20 when they sit with you, you'll have to keep it up with the tips or they will quickly move on. Camelot girls are quite merciless at this since for many of them tips from sitting with regulars are their main source of income. I have heard recently that there are a few who will let you do a bit of roaming under the table if you are sitting in a dark corner, but I think only a few of them will do that and it has to be with a super regular who obviously is dishing out a lot of cash.

You can usually get any dancer to sit with you for a $20 tip unless she is busy with one of her regulars. "Regulars" who surrounded by bunch of girls are spending a lot of tipping them.
