Dancer Drink Price Gouging Out of Control

Even though Camelot has started offering private dances, they have also started an insidious practice of blatant price gouging on dancer drinks. I’ve heard from dancers that management cracks down on them hard if they don’t pull out all the stops and pull every trick in the book to wring as much cash from the customers through dancer drinks as they can. Although there is nothing new in any of this, it has gotten much worse since the end of the pandemic.

$35 shots is their go to trick. They then order them one after the other like water. I’ve tried to be firm with them about what I’m willing to pay for drinks but they’ll ignore it and price gouge anyway.

I suspect this practice is perhaps due to some money problems the club is having. DC clubs are hardly worth going to anyway. However, I don’t like driving to Baltimore. But Camelot is now off the list.
