Where is the Atlanta scene going. Y’all losing all your good clubs. All that’s left will be make it rain rap star bullshit.

Cops came in and shut it down today. Doraville apparently found a technicality that undercut Oasis's court arguments once and for all from what I've heard.

This one seems pretty final.

Where do you think the customers and dancers will migrate to? I’m thinking pink pony or tattletales?

Some of the dancers and a lot of the customers already started migrating to PP. But more than half the dancers at O would never be hired by PP or Tattletals.

@doctorevil - I am not really up to speed on those 3 clubs. Why would half the dancers never be hired at the other2 clubs?

Btw I was at Vivide yesterday. Changes going on there now too by the general manager. There is now a door girl collecting the entrance fee of $10. You might recognize as a former Follies door girl. She is also collecting the house fees for all of the dancers. So none will be permitted ITC before paying at the door. The door guy has stepped up pat downs. When I was leaving I noticed that they had blocked off the parking lot to the right of the entrance. Lots of unhappy dancers and employees.

Purple, yes but really look at at many of the clubs in NY, as lame and blue as it gets. Go to NJ and CT and just as blue politically but way better mileage and more accepting. Many clubs there in straight up leave it to beaver type a
neighborhoods with extras easily available.

Shadow: Pink Pony and Tattletale have much higher hiring standards than Oasis. Oasis has (had) lots of girls that are too old, fat, or ugly to be hired at Pink Pony or Tattletale.

Thanks doc. I remember when Oasis wouldn't hire former Follies dancers. :)

Was at tattletales and two girls came in for jobs from oasis. A lot of customers coming over I hope they don’t drive up the price of vip. Definitely the b team today. One older blonde who I have taken to vip before and up and right away let’s go to vip. I’m like why don’t you try and out some effort into getting me excited about going with you. Anyway I passed. Only about ten girls including Shelby. She is still very heavy.

I was at PP today. Several Oasis girls came in for auditions.

Atlanta burbs just want to be boring AF.

I just drove past. There were 10 or 12 cars in the parking lot up close but did not look like they were open. Maybe people packing up their stuff.

Ugh this is going to make it harder to get into more diverse clubs. I'm about to ask a dancer that I know from Oasis is it closed for sure? Will update....

I spoke with a dancer friend that worked at Oasis yesterday and she is under the impression it is closed permanently. She was upset about it and said she will eventually find a new club but was taking a week off to focus on her next move

Yes they're closed. The dancer I know confirmed. She's back at PP.

There were at least 2 of them at Vivide today. One remembered me from Follies.

ShadowCat, from your experience, where do you think the girls will migrate to? You've seen this happen with Follies and I'm sure other clubs here.

Few dancers just said so on ig that it’s closed. I was coming here to confirm and saw this post so idk.

I think Tattletales, Cheetah, and pink pony will get all the oasis dancers. Pink Pony is picky so don’t expect many to go there, but they’ll pick the slim ones. I’ve talked to a lot of the girls before and they hate vivide, Magic, and blue flame, it’s not up their alley and most guys at TT, PP, and Cheetah overpay.

I was in the area today, so I drove by. The driveways into the club parking lot were closed off, but there were at least a half dozen cars in parking lot. The door guy was sitting in a chair by the entrance, and there was a guy in the parking lot. Hard to tell what was going on. Didn't look like they were moving out or anything though. Also, I know a few dancers from there. One said she was called by the house mom and told the closing was only temporary. Another told me that the owners had bought another location and would reopen. There were also all kind of rumours about Follies reopening, but they obviously never did. Personally, I think this is the end of the road for Oasis. RIP.

I passed by today,too. It looked like they might be putting up a chain link fence to wall off the part of the parking lot nearest Oasis. The can't close the parking entrances because there is a restaurant next door. Do you mean the closed off the entrance to the strip of parking in front of the entrance?

Yes and no. There are two entrances to the property. The first one, the one closest to Home Depot, was open so customers could get to the Mexican restaurant behind Oasis, but there was orange construction site netting blocking the left turn you would need to make to park in front of Oasis. the second entrance, the one close to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, was completely blocked with the orange netting.

Just drove by there and saw what you're talking about with it being blocked off. You can get into the parking lot for Jimmy's but yeah you can't get into the parking lot for Oasis.

Where in metro ATL could you possibly open a new strip club? That said, there really should be an extras club in Cumming!

Yeah but you have to get a liquor license and not sure the city will give out a new one for a strip club.

Strange that I drove by Thursday night around 7 and there were 60-70 cars in the lot. Judging by where they were parked this was NOT restaurant parking. Drove by again just before midnight and a ghost town.

Saw on another site Oasis rumored to be opening somewhere on Piedmont. Could be at the Platinum location. I wonder if it would be possible to open in the old Gold Club site.

This is a different story than hearing about a Gwinnett location. Who knows what might be true.

@goldmongerATL I saw that. A rumor from a dancer is not worth much. I doubt that the former Oasis owners would be interested in a small shit hold with major parking problems. There are lots of possible locations available. The problem is getting a liquor license.
