Vivide Winter '23 Update

My final review of the year.

I’ve been back at Vivide three times since my last mid-October review. My most recent visit was this past Monday. I’m normally here once and occasionally twice a month. Vivid is a two-story medium-sized club in a mostly industrial area of West Midtown (or more specifically Blandtown) that is currently going through slow gentrification. The club opens at noon Monday-Friday. On Saturdays the club opens at 1:00. They were open on one recent Sunday even though clubs are supposed to be closed on that particular day within Atlanta city limits; I saw it advertised on the Instagram page but don’t know for sure if that will be a permanent thing.

Unless you’re one of the very first customers, the cover is $10 during the day that is collected by the door girl with an optional tip jar. There are now a couple of “parking attendants” that show up sometime after 2:00 to direct traffic and parking. I have heard of a few customers being able of bypassing the attendants in some instances. Otherwise, there is an additional $10 parking fee. You can most likely bypass that fee and the attendants altogether if you arrive earlier. Deon, the friendly black security guard that mans the entrance on most days, will give you a pat down upon entering.
