I thought the same thing when I first arrived Thursday night. There were plenty to pick from Thursday afternoon when I was there, but at night I only saw 3 and they were average at best. So as I got my first drink and was escorted to the dance area by the first dominant chick, I wasn't sure how long I would be staying and was thinking about heading to Playmates or to Diamond Dolls. Then, after the 2 for 1, ladies seem to start flowing out of the dressing room. Most were better and better, nothing overly hot, but better than the average 3 I saw upon first entering. That day was my only two trips to the club, so I don't have much to offer more than my observations that day.

Porthole bouncer, what a jerk. I refuse, and let the girl(s) know to get dances with that approach. He killed it for them and I wanted them to know so they could change it if they choose to. I will not willingly be scammed out of my cash. I feel if the dancers are doing there part, they can tip the annoying bouncers out of their money (which used to be mine and yours). I don't feel it is a customer responsibility to pay the luxury tax so to speak. A lady making good money throughout the day should be able to satisfy the guys with appropriate tip out. Multiply tip out x # of ladies working, and those guys should make decent cash without being annoying a-holes. The ladies want my money, they need to take care of the watch dog, not me. Just my thoughts on it. Doesn't mean a loss of rational thought due to increased blood flow down low can't occasionally cause Forest Gump actions on my part - stupid is as stupid does. My other problem with annoying guys is the tax doesn't always last. Some guys it will, some guys will take one or two songs off, then back at it. So the tax doubles if I want to finish what we started privately. It is no different than a girl who gets back promising something for x dollars, then wanting x+ dollars to complete the task. So knowing they are like this for everyone, everyone needs to start to take a stand and stop catering to the dudes and tipping them. Let the ladies take care of them. Like I said, IMO, the ladies make money and take care of them, those guys will leave with a pretty good chunk of change without doing anything. I would think they would make more if the girls made more, rather than trying to make a $25 dance cost $45. Just my thoughts on it, doesn't mean I am right by any means, it just isn't my style. They (bouncers) aren't doing me a favor by taking my money, they are there for the ladies and as such, I think it is their responsibility to have them check or not check, depending on their individual dance style and preferences. I still had fun, especially at night and I will most likely go back. Like I said, stupid is as stupid does and I liked this place a lot, not as much as Climaxx, but still good fun. Being from the North, pants are a little more common up here, except in summer. I whole heartedly agree jeans provide far less feeling and can sometimes be rough on a dancer. I had a long day and wasn't thinking as I brought shorts on the trip specifically for going out if I got the chance. I had both casual and athletic shorts with me, I just didn't think. Don't know if every Thursday was like that or if that was a special Thursday "Latin Night", but there were at least 45 dancers working and I would say 20ish fit your preferred dancer body type in your reviews. I could of said something, but I knew before I accepted the one and done for her that it was too high. It was worth the extra $10 to get her to move on. I'll be back done next month again and I am sure I will pay another visit. I may hit you up on the side for some other info down your way, I am trying to work that into my trip as well if possible. True Shanny72. I was at the Bolts game and had a hotel near Mons and the other clubs on Dale Mabry, they were just too busy at night to park or move. Thought I would try here thinking it would be a laid back place to watch dances with some options. Not much dancing and all about the options. One of the dancers did say that most come there not to be noticed and small pockets of people come and go, most don't stay. $122 for three shortened songs with limited option just was not what I considered worth the money. I was looking for something a little more adventurous than a HJ, but not at a price that was higher than many quote for FS at other clubs. I don't negotiate with dancers or barter. Give me your price and I will consider it and then decide yes or no. If it is no, then it is no even if they come back with lower offer. I figure if they lower the offer, the quality of my dance will be lower as well as far as effort, etc. Oh well, you are correct - for a quick sure thing, this is the place. Just too high of a tag for me for not even 10 minutes of fun.

Thanks Papi. You assume correct, some of the extras were in e 3 for $100 room.. I wasn't going for the VIP line, seemed like a setup I agree. I will be back in October and might go back, but will likely check out some other clubs. Again, thanks for all the reviews and comments.

VIP rooms are full curtain with wooden bench. Wednesday busier than Tuesday, but only four girls working. Really dug the former dancer hanging out. Got dance with Phoenix and left happy, not that happy, but happy.

Thanks HonestT. Been looking for a legit squirter for a long time. Corvus - totally agree and I have discussed future options already. Any setting has to be better than an H8 VIP plywood room, but I was not about to say no to her offer to demonstrate. J

I think you are spot on Papi. Follies is probably best U.S. mix of talent, variety, club atmosphere, and $ value. I have often wondered why this place doesn't rank in the top 10 list for those reasons.
