There was a gorgeous, raven haired "Miss Columbia" type there a few months ago. Haven't seen her there in a while. BSC is getting quite a lot reviews. I was there earlier this week around 9pm, and it was surprisingly crowded. Seems like people have given up on Hi-Liter.

It's been mostly fat dancers my last few visits. Sure there are a few good ones left. But for now HL is the hotspot club for fat strippers. I imagine that hotspot will move on to Bourbon Street in a year or two.

Way too many not just fat, but obese too, dancers. They're running people out of the place, then the quality fit dancers leave due to the lack of customers. Out of all the top ten strip clubs in Phoenix, HL is the only one with a high number of fat and obese dancers. It's like the owners are willfully trying to destroy the club.

Well at least you don't have to suffer short, fat, 40 year old-plus, broken English Mexican women coming up to you with "Hey bay-beeee! U want dance?".

The Upscale strip club model is dead. You can build as fancy and expensive a club as you want, without quality dancers it will never succeed. On the other hand there's an over abundance of fat asses and hood 'hos.

...and I certainly wont miss Le Girls.

There's a lot of big girls in Hi-Liter these days. They tend to be the ones that approach you from the back. There's still a few hotties I like there though.

You need to get over this notion that attacking thug and 'ho behavior is somehow an attack on all black people. Now who's the racist?

I heard far worse from the atrocious hardcore rap music in Le Girls last night. That's too bad too. The girls were physically fit and hot. I just hate the 'hood mentality.

The best time to go to HL is in the afternoon hours, Monday through Wednesday. The best talent is there during that time. There's fewer fatties and I don't have to listen to crappy rap and modern pop music all day.

I can believe that 10% Latina percentage. Latina dancers used to be so fine up to about 15 years ago. Now most of them are fatasses trying to be a Kim Kardashian. Speaking of 15 years or so ago, Tuesday nights used to bed great at Yellow Rose and especially Sugar’s. Ahhh, the memories.

It was a Jaguars, a (surprise, surprise) urban club. It's the second shooting death there in the last couple of months.

Man that place really has gone even further downhill since I last visited. They used to pack the huge place on weekend nights. Expose used to be my favorite strip club- perhaps in any city. Stripping ain't what it used to be.

Both Amber and Marissa have danced around at different clubs in Austin for twenty. And they are still among the hottest dancers in the city. I think I remember Reagan too. The other girls are unfamiliar to me. Too bad about the cost of the Cabanas.

Hmmm.... Just a hunch, but try again tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon.

I've noticed the recent influx of fat dancers recently at HL. While every has seen a drop in dancer quality. It's still surprising to see HL turn into a Chica Bonitas. Still it wouldn't surprise me if HL brought in more revenue than BSC. They always seem to draw more customers.

I never understood the praise for Sugar 44. It simply sounds to me that people are mad at Hi-Liter and are overpraising Sugar 44. Look I'm disappointed in dancer quality at Hi-Liter these days too. But I'm not going to fool myself into thinking some of these clubs are any better (with the exception of BSC of course).

As far as interrupting lap dances to go on stage, or to to a big spender, that sounds like typical strip club affairs to me. I'm surprised by your ranking the dancers so low though. But I will say that dancer quality is much better in the afternoon, midweek thru Friday. I also like the music better in the afternoon than nights.

Yeah it was overpriced even just as a single. I should have just stuck with a beer.

Even Bourbon Street is quite sparse these days. Stripclubs are simply dying out. Seems like every summer they get worse then not quite rebound.

That's only in the evening and because Hi-Liter is shifting towards becoming a hood strip club, just like all the ones west of Central. Personally I'm too old to care and just use my military veterans ID. I typically only visit during day shift, and once that becomes too hood I'll stop going to Hi-Liter just as I no longer visit the west side strip joints.

Okay, so the extras crowd will no longer patronage Hi-Liter. That in itself will attract more hot dancers.
