Do strip clubs need "special" insurance? Protection against risk of a customer or employee contracting an STI? Risk of a dancer getting injured during a pole routine?

Nelly: Have you tried the "nearby strip clubs" feature. If you allow google maps access to your location, that feature is pretty good. It works pretty well but only if you are already in the area.
What is missing is the ability to search for clubs in an area where you are planning to travel to (but are not yet there).

I'll add two more suggestions:
When traveling, it is difficult to use the strip club list to identify clubs in your vicinity because many of the clubs are listed by neighborhoods, not by large adjacent cities.
The map feature seems to default to Las Vegas and it is awkward to resize and drag the map to a specific location. If the map could start by selecting a state (or country), that would make it easier to locate clubs on the map.

Sounds like a business opportunity to locate a child care service within proximity of a strip club (and a school). Then again, strip clubs are seldom located in nice residential neighborhoods, the kind where you might find a child care service.

A few replies:
Aham: Fortunately, the private dance area is secluded so I didn't have to walk around pants less for very far. I can assure you that I didn't get any tips when scantily clad!
Chief: I referred to Daisy as a ROB because she absconded with my pants and wallet and stole money, not because she was a mechanical performer. I thought carefully about the possible outcomes of asking the attendant to recover the money that she stole. I'm not wealthy but a $200 dollar loss is not going to send me into a financial crisis. I was in a hurry so I decided that I would not wait around for a resolution but that I'd warn my fellow strip club enthusiasts (and maybe the LS management?) about this particular dancer. Of course, she may change her stage name but at least readers of this story will be wary of dancers who demand pay up front and also take some steps to prevent a dancer from rushing out with pants and other valuables.
