This is your first review. Thanks! Check out the other published reviews for the type of details that you might include in future reviews, such as valet cost, drink costs (you add this later), and all the costs associated with private dances. If you don't mention dancer names, you can also report more details on the mileage and extras, if available. Looking forward to your next review(s).

I thought this was generally well written. The review's comments are perplexing.

Good to see a review of a club in Norway. No idea what happened but it was "mind blowing" and wallet draining.

In my eyes, $500/hour is expensive, especially if you talked for 30 minutes and you did "what she was comfortable with" rather than what you wanted.
Just curious, for what other services do you pay $500/hour or more?
But, its your money so spend it as you please.

Any details on the "new rules and prices." That information might be helpful for customers considering a visit to this club.

When in doubt, take dick out
Most of my spending has been for ITC activities, often in Metro Detroit or in other extras-friendly clubs in Florida, California or Georgia. My max was 400.
My average ITC expenditure is closer to 200 for a 30 minute FS session. Not surprisingly, my average has been creeping up over the post-COVID years.
I have very little interest in over night and other OTC arrangements. Thus my costs are significantly lower than some of you are revealing.

I'm holding out for a strike where the dancers walk the picket line in their work clothes, or lack thereof.

I haven't been to Bogarts in a while. Maybe things have changed.
This club is known for extras. Were extras offered and you declined?
It typically has a stable of older, out of shape dancers with a few gems sprinkled in. I'm surprised that they had a line up of slim, attractive dancers!
I have never seen a dancer fail to remove her top when on stage.
Can you confirm that you visited Bogarts??

Dusty: I'm hoping this comes across as a friendly suggestion.
Writing is a skill. It requires practice and the willingness to solicit and learn from feedback. I've been learning for 70 years and I still not a great writer.
One suggestion: find an author with a simple and effective writing style and try to model your writing on the prose of that author. One author who demonstrates this type of writing is Norman Maclean, author of Young Men and Fire and A River Runs Through It. Both of these books are good reads and the prose is simple, direct and effective
One more suggestion. Practice by rewriting some of your own prose. It can be humbling (at least it is for me), but it is a great way to improve your writing. You could even start practicing with the final sentence of your comment above, "But people make it seem.........."
Wishing you well.

Dusty: I hope you know that the people who do reviews and recommend publication or rejection, have no idea who actually wrote the review. Thus, no one is picking on you, because we have no idea who wrote a particular review.
You put some effort into writing this review. That's why I said that I was "on the fence." Can I suggest that you think about what information you'd find valuable if you were thinking about visiting a particular club. Here's a few suggestions:
1. Parking-- a) park yourself for free or b) valet required and how much does this cost
2. admission costs-- these vary across clubs, across days and time of day for a particular club
3. Optional-- cost of drinks-- this is not a big deal for many readers
4. Describe the talent-- how many dancers, ethnic distribution, age range, how attractive
5. Stage performances-- topless/nude? stage tipping? Some clubs feature a good stage performances, including some interaction with the audience. Other clubs have boring stage performances
6. Private dances: Where do they occur? Are the facilities private/comfortable/ clean? Costs of private dances? Mileage-- if you don't mention specific dancer names, you can add some details on mileage and extras.
Any other bits of advice?
Hope this helps. Keep up the "research."

Do strip clubs need "special" insurance? Protection against risk of a customer or employee contracting an STI? Risk of a dancer getting injured during a pole routine?
Just curious.

Nelly: Have you tried the "nearby strip clubs" feature. If you allow google maps access to your location, that feature is pretty good. It works pretty well but only if you are already in the area.
What is missing is the ability to search for clubs in an area where you are planning to travel to (but are not yet there).

Thanks to founder for all of his work on the web site and also to nelly76 for his thoughtful suggestions.
I'll add two more suggestions:
When traveling, it is difficult to use the strip club list to identify clubs in your vicinity because many of the clubs are listed by neighborhoods, not by large adjacent cities.
The map feature seems to default to Las Vegas and it is awkward to resize and drag the map to a specific location. If the map could start by selecting a state (or country), that would make it easier to locate clubs on the map.
