    So Cal help needed here...
Good luck. I just think it's funny that a guy can be in a position to set up his father-in-law's 50th b-day limo strip tour.

What more (or less) do you want from a strip club ?
Sounds to me like SD just got back from a club in which he was looking for fun and funny conversation, but all he got was 'wanna dance, I can't pay my rent.'

I also noticed in the place that I go, they have a vending machine that sells porno dvd's. I know it sounds strange, but I think that's pretty sleezy. I don't think strip clubs and porn go hand in hand.

Cat's meow, nice to hear from you again. SD, It's a shame, but the sc industry doesn't appear to market itself the same way other businesses do. They don't cater to the frequent or regular customer and provide things that will keep him coming back. They more or less target the guy that comes in once every couple of months and try to drain his wallet a variety of ways. If I'm out the door with empty pockets, it's because I just spent an hour or so with a dancer or 2 and a couple of beers. Who needs more than that ?

    All or nothing ?
Well said FONDL. I've noticed the same thing. Even though you may have a fav, if you're a nice and decent guy, you'll get pretty good treatment all around from other dancers. Mouse: do you ever try develop any type of repoire (?sp) with a dancer, or do you pretty much check your personality at the door ? (I'm not saying it's a bad approach, just wondering ) As for myself, recent developments have been: No.1 fav, has left the building, is gone, but will never be forgotten. No.3 fav has lost some of her appeal lately. I've gotten some dances from some other girls, but it's been pretty much of a waste. It looks as though that I only have one reason to go as fav No.2 has been promoted to No.1 and appears to be the one and only. And, I've got no problem with that. I remember Yoda once said, "I've RIL'ed before and I'll RIL again." I'm not sure if I'm ready to RIL again, but I can't think of a better dancer to fall prey to. Wish me luck.

Which is more disturbing ? (assuming we agree that it's disturbing) the demand, the easy accessability, or the willing participants (albeit for $$$) ????

My fav was on stage once when the DJ played the wrong song by mistake, and we immediately called out to the dj at the same time to change the tune.

A vicious cycle, no doubt. A one shot curiosity peek is one thing, but to continue to go back time and again is very weird.

How do you suppose fetishes are developed? Most of this stuff is unimaginable. But I guess once some people get exposed to it, it becomes a 'must have.'

Thks Yoda, is it any better the second time around?, and, is there any logical reason why I'm putting myself through this?

Thks again yoda, I think I'm pretty much covered on all accounts. Just trying to add a little spice to what has become a normal, routine, unadventerous lifestyle. No harm, no foul. An hour or so with a beautiful and charming girl has a way of lifting one's spirits.

This is tough to admit, but what the hell. My first time in a club, most of the girls had pretty normal names, like: Tabitha, Kaitlin, Amanda, etc, but then there were a few like: Autumn and Peaches, and I remember thinking Peaches is a pretty strange name. I finally figured it out, but the fact that it wasn't immediately was pretty embarrassing.

DandyDan, that's pretty good. I'm not sure if it's worth starting a new thread, or if we should just keep this one going. Does anyone else have honest, naive and/or embarrasing moments during the early days of your clubbing ?

My new fav plays the greatest music during her stage show, and I always follow it up with a couple of private deances. The Problem ? The next dancer always seems to play the worst music. Ya know, the head pounding heavy metal crap. kind of spoils the mood. I'd like to offer the next dancer $20 to play something good. What'ya think ?

I think I'm Ril'in like never before. To the point where I don't even get dances from other girls or even tip on stage for anyone else. After her stage show and a couple of private dances, I retreat back to the ball game or the pool room until she's back on stage. But I do have an exit strategy put in place. A few more visits over the next week or 2 before I scale back for the summer while the tourists and golfers invade. Here we go again.

How about when you continue to go to a club after your fav moves on ? I felt like a marked man. It wasn't long before a couple of sharks started circling. I tried some dances with one of them, but I'm gonna pass from now on. I'm just going to save my visits for the new fav that seems to make it all worth while.

J23 was the best. Was there ever a final word from her, or did she just quietly fade away ?

By the time they realize that they can trust you, it's probably a few months down the line. God knows what they've said by then. (I can't blame them one bit)

Not that I remember alot of what shadowcat has posted in the past, but I was somewhat surprised by that post. If he's able to dust himself off, I'll give him a hand up. Just a bad joke in poor taste, but a pretty good example why dancers are reluctant to contribute.

On my first visit to a club after this thread started, I'm sitting next to a guy who drops a $20 on the stage. My fav was dancing, so it worked out great. (at first she thought I put it down, but I told her). She comes around during the 2nd tune, and he throws down another $20. Once again, it worked out great because it kept her on our side of the stage for alot longer. I was hoping that a bidding war would start. Has anyone ever seen that ? When opposite sides of the stage start tipping more and more to get the dancer to stay on their side of the stage. It can be pretty funny. On another note: how does a dancer arrange to dance for 4 songs, while all the others get only 3. Is it a management deal, or does she just tip the DJ more at the end of the night ?My fav always has 4 song sets, but she's the only one.

Verfolgung: Isn't that why they're there ? Or would they rather do private dances than a stage show? I'm guessing that, on average, they do better per song on the stage than a private dance. (It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong)

Let's say there are 10 guys around a stage. If the dancer does 3 tunes, and they all tip $2 per song, that's $60 for 3 songs. It's a bit more work than 3 private dances, but on a Fri or Sat nite, there is usually more than 10 guys tipping more than $2. I can see where I dancer can be anxious to end her set if the place is real quiet, but aside from that, I'm sure they're willing to stick around, put on a show, and maybe entice a guy for a private dance or 2. By the way vflng, I'm from Ma, so that may explain my way of thinking. Also, I like it when the club is laid back and quiet, but is there anything worse than when there are like 2 or 3 customers in the place ?

verfolgung: I usually plan to visit me fav during the more quiet hours (fri/sat nite just doesn't do it for me anymore) But a few sundays ago, it was almost too slow. my fav usually hides behind the scene until it's time to come on stage, and sitting through 3 sets seemed to take forever. I sometimes like it when it's slow when I first arrive, but then gradually picks up. It can be interesting to observe the transformation of energy.
