A Time was hadI agree with Electronman. This is not an accurate description of this club or the "action" he is alluding to.

Good Service and ConversationSounds like a club ad. This place has been horrible and dead for many years. Look at past reviews.

Back at the Landing StripIt seems the number of dancers picks up here after 3:00. Before that and it is pretty hit and miss.
- Amber the salad eating queen.
There was an Amber at LS, who fits your description. She would be in her early to mid-30's by now. The difference is the girl I know had dark hair that came down past her shoulders. She may have dyed her hair.

My fav. spot in townI question this review because he said the VIP is not too dark. I think it is too dark. It is really my only complaint about LS.

Best in kzoo$500-$1,000 is spending way too much money in this place. These are attractive women, but that is Flight Club level money for a much less satisfying experience.

First Visit in Quite AwhilePepsiMan, it's just the way I have always done it. I find the girls are interested in giving it a good try to make the experience last longer if they don't know where things are going. Reading the posts from negotiators first, it sounds like they get right to the task at hand and it's over quickly. I like to make things last awhile. I have only had a few dancers try to push me for more than I offer when we are finished.
BubbleYum, I didn't smell anything funky so maybe they have cleaned up since you were there.

Amber on DayshiftThank you. I had not seen her name posted in quite awhile. I thought she may have retired.
As for the other responses, you are right I did not read the FAQ before posting this. I apologize. I usually just post reviews, I think I only responded to a discussion one other time and I don't think I ever started a discussion before. The stalker suspicion is fair. If I read this post I may have thought the same thing. She is just one of my pre-covid favorites. I am thinking doing some clubbing again for the first time since 2019, so I am a bit out of practice.

New Book from Ann Arbor Stripper/LibrarianI did read the article and saw her stage name was Penelope, but often times dancers use multiple names. I don't ever remember any dancer with that name, but she looks familiar. Just curious if someone might know her under a different name?

Let's Make a Deal . . . .Any time I have had a a dancer, I had gotten dances with many times, I never had them dance for me again. When I say "many times", I mean someone who has become familiar enough with me to quickly approach me as soon as they know I am in the club and knows enough about me to have ongoing conversations from previous visits. I don't think of myself as a regular, but if the dancer fits that criteria and they try to ask for more money than our usual rates, that's the end with her.....period.

A Fresh LookThe changes are too frequent and seem disorganized. It is VERY frustrating. I liked the recent reviews being sorted by date and then alphabetized by State. That was the easiest to use. I don't like the changes, but I have tried and I have learned the new style. Once I figure out how to find what I am looking for, it seems like you change it again. Covid feels like it gave you too much time on your hands.

Favorite Detroit area clubs?Landing Strip VIPs are roomy and comfortable, but wat too dark. You can hardly see the dancer.
Best VIP to me is BTs. Very comfortable and the mirrors are an added bonus. The downside is you pay the room tax every time you enter and that can get pricey.

What would you have done differently?Going back to Trump's beginning to address the virus, I do not have any objections to what he did. I do wish he had been less cavalier in downplaying the possible effects/outcome of the virus. I think, in the beginning, he undersold it.
With hindsight, the thing that bothers me the most is the lack of uniformity in reporting the numbers. I think, as President, he could have pushed other world leaders to create a formal way to count the cases and those who died.
I don't feel confident that the numbers are accurate. Do we really have the most cases, or does the way we count, vs the way Russia, or China, or Mexico count, make it look like we have more cases than they do. How can we really tell how widespread the disease really is without everyone recording the numbers the same way?

aham5I've got a bad feeling about this.
Detroit opening?Longball300, the airlines and tourism may take a long time coming back. I think that could affect several of the clubs near the airport. Playhouse is probably done. The others probably had enough cash reserve to reopen, but if the customer count is way down some of the rest of them may have a short run. Flight club struggled before they sold to the current owner. Flight Club counts on high rollers and if they aren't coming to town because business flights are down and tourism drops they could have issues too. The Hamilton clubs are probably OK and maybe the Dearborn clubs will be OK. I have no feel for Subi's.

Detroit opening? It will be a long time before I get up close and personal with a dancer in a Detroit area club. I am wondering how many clubs in the Detroit area will close permanently. Any thoughts?

Solid club, too bad it alows smokingThis would be the best club in the area if they banned smoking in the main room. It's not the worst club for smoking, but you still walk out smelling like an ashtray. They need to take a lesson from BT's and Cricket in taking the smoking to a smoking lounge. Several times I have taken my money to other clubs just to get away from the smoke.

First and Last VisitThat is enough details, and a very accurate reviews of this club. Impossible to understand how they stay open. The building is in desperate need of repair. It feels like it could collapse at any moment and the bathrooms are awful.

Pleasant surpriseI have never seen a review of this club that sounded anything like this. $100 just to talk to a dancer? $1,000 raining on each dancer on stage? None of this is likely at this, or any other club in the area.

Quite possibly the best club in Michigan!!Do not waste your money on the champagne room with the promise of dances being "even more special". They won't be any different in a west Michigan club, they will only cost more. That is the "special" part.
