One time over 20 years ago in a little shitty club in the LA area, I was sitting at the tip rail tipping, dancer on stage says to me "You should leave now, those 3 guys over there were talking about robbing you" I told her "thank you" and hi-tailed it out of there. Strippers=Guardian Angels. A few months later I read that the club was closed by LAPD due this problem of customers getting mugged.

This may not be what your looking for but here goes. About 20 years ago I was on a quest to visit all 100+ clubs listed on Zbone.com (this is a Los Angeles area website) I was in a seedy club in Reseda, Ca tipping at the stage. The dancer on the stage softly says to me "You need to leave, the 3 guys over there are talking about robbing you" I took a glance over there 3 gang looking Mexicans. I got up and left.
The club later was shut down by the city and rezoned so no strip club could re-open. The news story I read referred to "numerous calls for LAPD and prostitution problems.
I never had any major problems with clubs or patrons of clubs. Do not know what would of happened if I stayed. So I will say this was the best SC advise. I ever received.
I also have learned much by reading sites like this.

I been to this club. Never any luck though. Anyways I get the feeling the owner of the club is going to get screwed on this.
The old man has been trying to sell the club for a few years now and retire. I get the feeling his retirement will be spend in Joliet.

I am taking a quasi road trip to East St Louis next week end (flying LAX-STL). I really enjoy the area, I do much more than the clubs, I am going to the 4 Dodgers-Cardinal games, will hit a horsetrack on Saturday, hit the local casinos and do some exploring of the area in my rental car. I also have done Detroit & Northwest Indiana on one trip Houston on another, and was able to sneak to Tampa one night from a family vacation at DisneyWorld (I really am a club addict).
Samsung mentioned City of Industry clubs, They are great but I stopped going about 5 years ago because I really felt I was not getting value for my money.
I think is Shadowcat is happy with the clubs he goes to, there is no reason for a road trip.

How about this for a solution: Next time they want to trade sex for rent, hand them a receipt (keeping a copy for yourself) for the months rent, deposit your own cash for the rent in the account you normally put rent money in. Now you have a paper trail and its their word versus your word. I would think a respectable landlords evidence versus the story of a stripper would carry more weight with a Judge. Even if the have a tape of you, you could claim the sex was a freebie between 3 consenting adults and nothing else.
On a more serious side, you are playing with fire. You need to claim the rental income on your taxes every month (no matter what form you take it in.) Otherwise the IRS will accuse you of trying to hide income on the rental as I am sure you are taking depreciation on the house and writing off other expenses against the profit of the rent.

Ah yes, the wonderful Metro East area. It is like strip club heaven. The internet is a wonderful thing, because being from Los Angeles, I never would of learned about ESL (or any of the other fun places like Tampa, etc).
Anyways to Kprince, if you are interested about learning about the area, there are several websites you can go to. One that I enjoy is "Built St. Louis" this is actually run by an Architect, who chronicales the buildings of the St Louis area. Click on the East st Louis area and enjoy. Also read about ESL in Wikipedia, it gives a decent history of the area, Also read about Sauget Il. Its kind of interesting.
Regarding the movie Trespass, I have seen it its kind of fun way to spend 2 hours. However the movie was shot in Atlanta Ga. They were too scarred to actually film in ESL.
Now that I bored everyone to tears, a reminder there have been 2 guys killed in the parking lots of the club in the last 12 months and several muggings in the same lots. Be careful going their.

Unbel, Your trip to the COI Spearament Rhino is about 8 to 9 years to late. The lap dances are about a minute long $20 topless $40 nude. The hostess clubs are loooong gone, (sigh) I could tell you some hostess club stories. The Glory holes are gay (I think you get my meaning). There are alot of AMP's in the area. Go try SR let us know what you think. The Los Angeles area in the late 1990's to about 2003 was great if you knew where to look and were a regular. No more, oh well I just save my LD money to go to ESL. Beeoch

I had a time in East St Louis, (my first time there) I walked into the club, one of the well reviewed high milage, scary places, I had a bunch of girls come up to me and say something like "Where have you been I have not seen you in months." I told them it was the first time I had ever been there. I went back that night and the samething happened. I am sure glad the guy they confused me with did not cause a problem the last time he was in, and the bouncer wanted to kick his ass.
