Actually, we are not too far from a time when people (mostly males) will take a simulated being as their mate. Upfront, there will be a huge cost, but in the long run cheaper than a human mate, and not bitchy, or annoying.
So *that* was an art show huh?? Recently in Montreal I saw an Apple computer from the 1980s on display (a model that I had likely used before) as "art"...weird...
BTW, I hear those robots promise you the world in the main room, and then, when you get them into the LD room, they end up being very mechanical... ;)
