A Safe Harbor

Have you ever had a situation where a dancer wanted your company to protect herself from or avoid another customer?

I had this happen the other day. A dancer didn't want to deal with an unkempt customer who looked liked he slept in a van down by the river. He came to the stage and tipped just a single dollar and then kept harassing her for lap dances. He spent the previous hour and a half snaking the dancer while she was with other customers all afternoon. The dancer and myself were previously acquainted, and I did like her, so I didn't mind being her port in the storm. I ordered some drinks and we chatted. The creepy guy parked himself at the table right next to ours and kept staring and making hand signals to the dancer. When she needed to go to the restroom, she asked me to escort her most of the way over there, since the guy was going to pounce on her as soon as she was isolated. When she returned, we sat on the other side of the room and did lap dances. The guy eventually left, and you could tell he was pissed.

I have also had other situations in the past where dancers wanted to hang out at my table just to avoid customers that were known to constantly pester them for OTC or were extremely aggressive.

Yes, an ATF would routinely ignore other customers while I was at the club. I was a good spender with her, but even when I wasn't spending anything on her, she would routinely hang with me to avoid other guys.

I was threatened multiple times by other guys for hoarding her to myself, but many times, I wanted her to dance for other guys so she could make more money, and so I wouldn't go broke. One guy tried to start a fight with me in the club, but a bouncer quickly intervened and stopped him. I was also confronted in the parking while leaving by three pissed-off guys because my ATF thought they were assholes and she didn't want anything to do with them. It turned into a shouting match, but luckily, it didn't devolve into a fight.

I had one hangout with me because she didn't want to be seen by a customer that was friends with her brother.

Yep, it's happened to me plenty of times over the years. And while I have no problem telling a dancer that I'm not interested in her--politely at first, and then more bluntly, if necessary--sometimes as a customer you get that dancer that just refuses to leave you alone. So the "safe harbor" thing can go both ways...

At a couple of my former favorite clubs, this would happen quite a bit. I remember one time, she was trying to avoid her ex boyfriend.

This happens frequently in the strip club. I also had this happen in a civilian club back in my single days. This girl was way out of my league but she was trying to avoid a much older, very creepy guy so she comes up to me, takes my hand and whispers in my ear “just play along and act like we’re together”. I certainly didn’t mind. I got her number and we went out on a couple of dates after that, but the relationship never went anywhere. Probably the hottest girl I ever dated in real life.

I'm a regular daytimer, a least once a week. Most dancers wil hang out with me becasue I always tip when they go on stage. Being a respectful regular does have some advantages. But being a backup to the bouncer is not good. Make sure to talk to a manager about customers ruining the vibe.

A lovely young lady who was sitting with me at a local club was apprehensive about a drunken, creepy, somewhat unkempt man. She said she had given him a few dances and he now seemed to be obsessed with her. Apparently so, since he orbited around our table several times, smiling at her, and eventually stopped to shake my hand. Not sure if he was trying to be intimidating or not. However, the fact that he was a member of a group of bikers sitting at a few nearby tables was intimidating. Images of myself bleeding in the parking lot crossed my mind. I did get dances with her, and she was great, but I didn't stick around long after that.

This incident didn't happen at a strip club and it happened a good 20 years ago. I get a call late at night from an escort agency who I knew very well and asked me how close I was to NYC as they had a girl who was having issues with a client. Told them how close I was and they asked me to head in to get her. 20 minutes in and I get a call and the guy left. Asked if they wanted me to check on the girl and they said the girl was okay. The owner of the agency was grateful for my effort and of course took care of me on my next session with one of her gals...

If dancers feel threatened, would the bouncer take care of her? The, she has to worry about the creeper hanging around in the dark to follow her. I would hope girls would get self-defense classes, and learn how to carry. Better than be a statistic. I have no idea how frequently this happens and it probably goes under reported given the professions.

Strippers are humans first and in a legal profession; they deserve protection as needed.

Good to the PLs that provide safe harbor as needed. I certainly would only I don't hobby often enough to be a regular.

Right before the pandemic a dancer was sitting with me to avoid a group of young guys who were all interested in fucking her for free, but not tipping. She came over to avoid them and once she started ignoring them, they decided it was all my fault. When she hit the stage I got up walked by their table and they started shitting on me about how fucking smart I was to leave and to leave the hot women to them etc. I said "naw, I'll be back, I'm just getting my gun". I went to my car, lit up a pre-roll and watched them leave the club and drive away. Went back in the club and the dancer totally ignored me as if I had left and was no longer there lol. Once the danger was done, so was I apparently.

@sinclair why were the guys pestering her for OTC? Perhaps she didnt want to tell them no, instead only gave them vague answers to keep them on the hook and get them to try to continue buying dances.

Also dancers ITC tend to hang out with their whales. It may not be a good sign at all if a dancer is sitting with a customer out in the public seating area. One dancer would always ignore or leave other customers when one guy came in- but he was constantly buying her drinks plus tipping her plus spending major money in dances. Im not sure he was even getting any extras either.

And regarding @skibum609 story hes just lucky nobody bothered calling the cops on a guy threatening to bring his gun into a club. Sounds like they didn’t bother saying anything to the bouncers either.

I would ask her why she doesn't go to the bouncer or even the house mother to report guys that are causing a problem? Most likely she won't give you an answer and will leave.

Yes I have, most of the time (I believe) it was genuine although there has been a time or two that I felt like it was just a sales tactic.

I probably should have mentioned that in the strip club its usually an offense maneuver by the stripper to prevent other girls from talking with you.

I've had this happen multiple times, twice in the same club (blame it on Florida Man). Often, strippers tell me they "feel safe around me". I believe it to be more than just ss. I have worked hard to cultivate a calm, confident, honest vibe for both professional and personal reasons. I appreciate an unsolicited acknowledgement that I have been successful.

The first time, a very aggravating time, was in Cheetah's in Sarasota. There was a Philipina stripper that was one of the two hottest girls in the club - just a knockout. There was also one particularly fat fuck in a cheap suit who tried to act like she was his property. He came in just before her shift started. She hid in a corner of the club under a jacket until she was finally called to the stage. It was funny to me. Huddled under the jacket, with an unhappy look on her face, I guessed her to be an unattractive, untalented, over-the-hill mamasan who was about as much fun as getting punched in the mouth by a roll of quarters. She went on stage and was damn near perfect. Fatso only tipped, but tipped generously, when someone else tipped. Like he was in a bidding war. When she took off her dress on stage, Fatso gathered it up and brought it back to his table. When I was at the stage tipping her, she whispered at me to keep it to a dollar and only do it once. Clearly, he was a whale who was like by only management. After she was obliged to go to his table to get her dress and do a couple of table dances, she came to me where I took her the private lap dance room. I had her in there for a good 20-30 minutes (not an extras club, but a helluva lap dancer). When we came out, Fatso was standing next to the booth as he had been eavesdropping. I turned around went back into the booth to warn her, and we agreed to additional discount dances to keep her from him. Without buying lap dances, he should not even have been in that part of the club (another clue that he was in good with the bouncers or management).

Same club, months and months later. There is a cute little spinner dancing. There is a short, young, Paki/Indian-looking guy in an even cheaper suit following her around stage tipping her a dollar each time she stops to gyrate or do a pole trick. He was like a dog following a piece of bacon, and you can see her getting visibly freaked out. I went to tip her to give her some breathing room and she spent the better part of two songs dancing/talking to me. She said she wanted to get away from that guy and would come to me after her set, and she did. She beelined over, sat in my lap, and threw her arms around me like a high-school sweetheart. The little guy glared at us for a long while until I took her back for some lap dances and he was gone when we came out. I don't go to Cheetah's anymore. $40 lap dances, overpriced beers, and a management that enjoys screwing over average Joes to make whales and VIPs feel better about themselves. They had some hot girls, but not worth the price of admission anymore.

My first time at BJ's (RIP), a dive bar/strip joint in the Twin Cities, I got three or four dances from a cute, busty young woman (later found out she was from Hawaii), obviously the first time I met her. About 20 minutes later, she stopped by my table again and asked if I could give her a ride home at the end of the night.

Huh?

The ride she had lined up couldn't make it, so she asked me.

Huh?

Apparently I didn't give her a creepy old perv vibe.

Yeah, I might have to work on that.

Anyhow, I gave her the ride. Didn't get anything other than a few little pecks on the mouth. Hey, I'll take (pretty much) whatever I can get.

That “protect me” shit is the first scene in a con the ends with you parting with a lot of money with nothing in return except maybe the feeling you help a damsel in (fake) distress.

I've never really had it tried by a dancer I didn't know well like some of you guys are talking about. But yes, from time to time a dancer who I have some history with will settle in next to me in order to avoid some other guy.

Which incidentally almost always annoys me. Not because the girl is sitting there, but because some retard can't control himself for some reason. I also just find it overall distracting.

But every so often one of these retards will actually come over and try to get her attention while I'm speaking with her. That just doubles my annoyance. My choice phrases for these dudes are "What are you fucking stupid?" and "How fucking desperate are you?"

The upside to a club is that it is very conveniently there when you want it. The downside is that it is very conveniently there when any desperate dipshit with a few 20s burning a hole in his pocket wants it.

Some here have correctly pointed out that this sort of thing can sometimes be used as a sales tactic, or that there might be some other reason that it isn't always genuine...

Look, it's a strip club, so it's pretty much a given that not everything said in there is always going to be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...lol Sometimes you get half-truths, or perhaps just a wee bit of truth here and there, or my personal favorite--they're making up all of this shit as they go along! 😂

Having said that, as an experienced club patron it's not even slightly challenging for me to figure out when a dancer is being genuine about something like that, or to what degree she's being genuine. It ain't anywhere near my first rodeo, so I know what's up, regardless of whether or not I might sometimes choose to play along for a bit... 😊

@rickdugan its not such surprising behavior. Its another symptom of possessiveness- countless guys on here have admitted to feeling possessive over dancers or sex workers they bang. Some guys simply take it a step further and become possessive even over girls that just lapdance for them- some even over girls that they merely tip on stage, lol. The only way to truly resolve the possessiveness is to nip it in the bud, and, if you find a dancer who dances well or provides extras well, you need to refer her to all your friends or associates to help her earn more business. But a lot of guys wont do this, and at some point in the process will become jealous and possessive- either right upon visually seeing her, or after a single conversation with her, or a single dance, or a few dances, or a single fuck, or a few fucks…

@theone&only maybe youre calm IRL, but on here you sound like one of those podcasters constantly yelling about the dems, commies and Islamists. Also there is no chance a phillippina could be the hottest in a florida club. In both your examples you spent extensively on dances with the ladies
