In the past, it was common for struggling strip clubs to shut down and get put up for sale. A new proprietor would buy it, take over the licenses, and reopen the strip club. Typically, the club's name and business model would change, but the building itself and its contents would mostly stay the same between different owners. Lately, I have been seeing strip clubs closing down and everything inside gets auctioned off. It seems running an adult entertainment business is not as attractive or lucrative as it once was.
This past week, On The Border in Franklin, Wisconsin auctioned off everything. This included the poles, stages, bar stools, pool table, ATM, exterior sign, hundreds of bottles of liquor, and even the toilet paper dispensers. Everything was liquidated.
In a couple weeks, Club 44 in Fort Wayne, Indiana will auction off everything. I will attach a link to the auction in case some of you want to bid on things found in a strip club: auctionzip.com
Some of the items are barrel chairs, couches, strippers' lockers, ice machines, autofryers, a walk-in freezer, beer taps, a Jagermeister dispenser, jugs of condiments, bottles of liquor opened and unopened, a vending machine, sound equipment, lighting equipment, ID scanners, a safe, NFL jerseys that hung on the walls, and much more. It looks like some of the dancer lockers still have locks on them, so you would be entitled to whatever was left inside.

I wonder why the club owners/managers don't clean out the stuff when they close, maybe they feel the next people who buy it will have lots of money so they have them do it. I had looked at vacant/closed strip club pics before, I saw everything you mentioned, very dirty. Why does it take so long to sell the buildings? It's high mark up or the owners don't wanna put them up for sale. Maybe money has to be owed before the strip club owners can sell. Anyway, I would grab a good conditioned pool table! Reminds me of auto auctions, you can find good deals. I bought a 92' Buick Century years ago that was picked up from the auction with 92,000 mi, just a well taken care of grandma car, ran great, only regular maintenance. Check this strip club for sale, I think its overpriced, but it looks good, they should negotiate if you know somebody who would like it, why did they close?
