😱 HK slides out of the TUSCL Top 40 Number 1 Spot

Slightly interesting. Though I'm a married no extras guy, I much enjoy reading of others experiences at these 2 very different places.

HK does have potential issues (bandits w badges), whereas Allure also has satisfaction guaranteed without anything to stress about.

Good point, a Zona Norte trip is definitely more dangerous and stressful than a jaunt through Mississauga.

But still, just wrapping my head around comparing these two, they aren't even comparable to some degree.

I'm most stuck on the idea that people travel from all over the world to hit up Hong Kong, but I've never heard of a "PL's sacred first visit to Allure". 😏

I’ve been to Allure and it certainly isn’t a strip club. To the unfamiliar there are tons of places just like Allure all over metro Toronto.

Activities beyond a happy ending are not common. Typically in a place like Allure you won’t find a female attendant under a 7 on the looks scale.

Toronto is a sexual playground just like TJ, although the way you go about things in Toronto are very different than TJ, and I’ve always been surprised it’s not talked about more here on TUSCL.

OK @shailyn, maybe Allure being number one makes a little bit more sense if you think about it as part of the broader context of the scene in Toronto, which as you point out, is pretty good.

But still... better than Hong Kong? Gah, I still don't get it. I think if you offered any given PL $5,000 and said you can choose to spend it either at Allure or HK, I suspect 80% or more PLs will chose HK.

The Top 40 is just a bunch of numbers. It mixes apples with oranges. Mexican whore houses and Canadian massage parlors are not in the same category as US strip clubs.

Atlanta has 4 clubs listed in the top 40. That is more than Tijuana or any other state. And yet my favorite Atlanta club did not even make the top 40. So take it all with a grain of salt.

Yeah, at @shadowcat, part of the problem is that people tend to review clubs relative to other clubs in the same region but then these are international rankings. And few mongers have the experience to compare clubs across many regions/countries.

The reviews used to be very reliable with most reviewers giving an honest assessment of their visits, this started to change with a few trolls starting their sad attempts to weaponize the best features of TUSCL, it began with a few plagarized reviews then a few of the geniuses figured out that they could skew the ratings and results by creating alt handles and overweighting founders systems which had worked very well until said trolls started their assault on the website and on individual members. What we are seeing now is the results of the handiwork of a few posters that founder has ignored and, taken away the useable tools that disabled these attackers. Unfortunately this is unlikely to change anytime soon.

When you compare HK to Allure, I would agree with you, HK would be a better option and I think most others would agree, but if you compare the entire scene (Tijuana or Toronto) then you may have a valid argument in which is better.

@shailyn I've never been to either to monger, but unless I'm mistaken the ratings were supposed to be about individual establishments, not trying to nitpick, but for comparisons sake, we do need to compare apples to apples, the rating system starts unraveling if we start comparing Toronto to Tijuana, that's not how these ratings were compiled, just sayin.

I don't put any weight on the ratings on this site. They're too subjective. The Top 40 list is particularly useless except as a curiosity. Not that I don't understand RonJax being surprised that his Mecca isn't on top anymore!

I've heard people argue you shouldn't count the TJ clubs as strip clubs because they are legal brothels, but I think that's wrong. The TJ clubs are still strip clubs. They have stage shows, you can get lap dances all night a these places. It also just happens there's an adjoining hotel and every chica is down for OTC. But that doesn't make it not be a strip club!

I will say, TJ club reviews make for the better stories. An Allure review can only elaborate on 'got a fine massage, got a great hand job.' The TJ reviews can read like a long lusty smut novel, fun to read 😀.

Yeah, good point @PAFBABS!!!! TUSCL rankings have no bearing on how much fun a club actually is. And in my firm opinion there is nowhere in North America where the FUN is as intense as HKGC!

That said, what put HK (and TJ) on my radar was being new to TUSCL and seeing HK's perpetual position in the number 1 spot. It made me wonder what the fuss was about. Then you start to read reviews and really find out. Then you finally make it there and you "get it."

But I suppose if TUSCL isn't number 1, and less people find out about it, that's more chicas for those of us who have discovered it already.

I travel a good deal for work. I used to always check out the local club scene when traveling. Recently though I was in the twin cities. I was looking at reviews for KOD here on TUSCL. And basically, it sounded like the kind of place where I would be likely to drop a grand on dances for nothing more than grind. And the easy decision was to save that grand for my next trip to Mexico.

TJ basically ruined US strip clubs for me.

• Close call on SCs. There's the sprawling megopolis of hot latinas that is Hong Kong. Then there's Chicago Club, Bar Tropical and the rest of the small clubs. HK is in a class of it's own. If you visit TJ for the first time, I recommend starting there, and then checking out the smaller clubs if it gets crowded or you want a change of pace.

• Hotels. Stay at either Hotel Rizo de Oro or Hotel Cascadas. Hotel Rizo is quieter, Cascadas is closer to the action. HK, Bar Tropical, Rizo and Cas are all under the same ownership, so girls from HK can come to Rizo and vice versa. Costs are similar so it is a matter of preference where to stay. Cas is more convenient to HK, and also the alley behind HK, where most of the small clubs are located in la Zona Norte.

Ron Jax. There used to be a pool hall east about a block away and another bar with a pool table too. The one pool hall on the corner by Chicago just didn't have enough business. I don't know about the other one... If it's still open or not. across from the alley on Constitution.

And it's not the first time that Hong Kong has slid out of the first spot. I just think there's room for improvement of how Hong Kong conducts business and creates rules that stifle the fun... and it's inconsistency (which is consistent.)

@icey, my 2 cents is that mileage is the most important factor in rating a club, and the higher the better.

I know not all mongers place the same emphasis on mileage but many do, and will happily chose a club with good mileage over one with better music and facilities or whatever.

I agree. However, those types of customers aren't reading reviews. The subset of PLs who read reviews before deciding on a club are, in my experience, overwhelmingly interested in mileage.

You can definitely look at google reviews or yelp if your main concern is the club's accoutrements and drink service.

@icey this isnt something there’s really data on. You claim most people dont go to strip clubs for extras… but you dont know that. Maybe most guys who go to clubs and review them, do go to clubs for mileage. And this can also change depending on what area your in and the types of clubs and customers. For instance maybe in Atlanta theres more people into the party clubs.

And the crazy thing is your in vegas. I would bet in vegas, people do in fact go to clubs and rate clubs dependent on extras. Considering it already has a reputation for hookers all around. Whether the reviewers are on google or yelp or Reddit or whichever site. I would bet Vegas club goers are wanting extras.

Las Chavelas is just part of Hong Kong now, it's been that way for years, well before since I first went. You can move freely between the two (as well as the third section of the club, the Miami Expansion, which is only open weekend nights.)

The same chicas work Chavelas that are working Hong Kong, in fact, chicas are required to spend an hour of their shift in Chavelas.

The only difference between Chavelas and HK is the decor and music. Chavelas is a cowboy bar that plans banda/norteño/mariachi, sometimes with live bands. The main Hong Kong club is "gringolandia" as my ATF puts it.
