I read "active strip clubs for mongers" as "extras friendly" clubs. Nicespeice seems to be postulating that based on the correlation to the perceived higher number of strip clubs in the Catholic areas, that they must be more into mongering. I disagree. I think it's pure coincidence. For example, I'm pretty sure the reason there's a bunch of those clubs around Miami and not Orlando isn't because there are more Catholics than Protestants living around Miami and the inverse is true in Orlando. It's much more likely they're not near Orlando because Disney's influence made it inhospitable to them. I also see no evidence to suggest there is less demand for sex work from the locals in Orlando than Miami, as the hypothesis would suggest. I'm not an Orlando local, but my understanding is the AMP scene in the area is quite active. I'm pretty sure those Protestants are mongering, just not at strip clubs. And a lot of the Miami strip clubs are filled with Tourists, the demand isn't purely local.
Bottom line, I'm saying drawing the conclusion that Catholics are more into mongering than Protestants based on the correlation between their residence and the relative number of extras friendly clubs in close proximity is shitty logic. I'm not saying nice made her claim was based on good science, she freely admitted she was talking out of her ass & I agree with that part.
It looks like white Catholics are more likely to live in or near a large city, which also has correlation with a bigger strip club scene. Metro Atlanta is probably the best example of having more white Protestants and a big strip club scene. In any case, I guess you'd have to be a Unitarian if you wanted to be both a devout Christian and a devout PL.
