there are some reviewers who ALWAYS turn down reviews... does anyone know why tuscl keeps them around?...

Theyre trolls . They think it gives them a sense of power.
A review is a recounting of a personal experience. Thats it.
The worst thing on here though is the number of fake reviews for closed clubs

You're not obligated to have your shit approved. Most of the reviews on this site suck, including yours. Most of the guys that reject a lot of reviews are right most of the time.
Changing the standard from 3 out of 8 to be rejected to 4 out of 8 and the new format with no spaces tanked the review quality.

founder prefers to avoid discussion of the hit team he keeps on retainer to take out bad reviewers.

We need more critical reviewers. Too many reviewers approve either crap that looks like it was written by a drunken ape, or contains only a rehash of info from the club page.
Critical reviewers stop the board from getting cluttered with shit.

Who are the fucking idiots demanding that every review discusses the club layout 🤣🤣😂😂😂🤡💩💩💩

No one demands that every review discuss the layout. The shitty reviewers who cry about their reviews getting down voted or rejected seem to think that's what not enough details means, but it's not. I can't read this guys reviews, I can't tell if its due to some extra formatting/code he's putting into his reviews or whatever Founder's doing with formatting. So I don't know what it is that's driving his downvotes.
But there's no "keeping them around" the site is mostly left unmoderated and unsupervised. It's just part of the vibe of the site, which reflects what seems to be founders take it or leave it, laissez faire approach. If people get far enough out of line, they'll find their accounts removed. But evidence suggests either founder unbans or they find away around the ban & they come back.
Also agree that we need more critical adjudicators. And I'd really love the up/down vote function for reviews too.

@Dolfan Your right. If anything the guys on this board aren't strict enough. So many reviews now are cut and past price guides that anyone could just steal from a previous review, or no prices of anything at all, an overview of the lineup that lacks anything about what the dancers look like if they approach how they act etc, nothing about mileage, nothing about the environment and vibe, or just nothing that wasn't in a review of that same club from an hour ago.

The one thing Id do is make sure the club is actually open.
If its a club i know. I wouldnt approve any review thats off. Like a review where they had a heineken during day shift and theres no day shift or heineken at the club.
Then theres the weird thing where really popular clubs dont get reviewed in years

But there are weirdos adament about club layouts....

Reviews, with good, honest info, should not turned down because of no paragraphs, not capitalizing the first word of a sentence, not reviewing the bathroom, etc.
Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

I've yet to see a single downvote on a review that complains that the review did not contain layout information, details about the bathroom, or parking lot as the reason for downvoting. The bar to getting a review aprpoved here is really quite low.
I've seen quite a few crybabies post threads crying about people downvoting or rejecting their review though. True, many of the reviews that are downvoted with "not enough details" do not have details about the layout, the restroom, or the parking lot. But they also lack any details about anything else. Yet, those crybabies always cry victim and act like there's some sort of cabal of members out there rejecting every review that doesn't have whatever irrelevant straw man detail they can think of.

I looked at your last review. I found a ton of detail about the layout of the club, and essentially nothing about what kind of experience I could expect once I sat down.
Three people rejected your review because it lacks details, and I think they have a point. I've never been to this club. Before I read your review, I didn't know if I wanted to try it. After reading, I still don't know. Aim your next review at someone like me, and let us know if it still gets rejected.

I like to read reviews that would, at least, pass a 3rd grade grammar test. Not looking for perfection. Far from it.
..
but if u tipe... shit like this... i wants to stop reading.. and its not a good raview. not in my book anyways

It's called quality control. Between AI, incoherence, and zero dancer description there's a lot of crap out there.

People who write reasonably coherent, informative reviews don’t need to worry about having their reviews rejected. People who write incoherent uninformative reviews have a better than 50% shot at getting approved

I agree the bar is too low. FWIW, I'm much more willing to approve a minimal review of a club we never see any info on, then another review of Baby Dolls Dallas that says "Latinas, mostly 7+, chair fort."
If you write your first review to get access to TUSCL reviews for free that's one thing, but additional reviews should be helpful to other PLs.
This review /review/426010 is completely incoherent, but it tells us (1) they have asian dances, which is relatively rare in MD, (2) when the dancer/PL ratio went from good to bad, (3) the cost of a VIP room and lapdances.
This review contains layout info, but the review sucks: /review/425799. The only potentially useful thing in it is that the club's bourbon selection is apparently poor.
This review is the gold standard: /review/425561. It has lots of crap I don't care about--though some of you may, but it also has lots of useful info. It has a paragraph on how the dancers actually look, but none of that "mostly 5-8 with a few 9s" crap. It discusses prices and song length. It also describes dance quality.

Personally, what grinds my gears is pouring hours into writing and editing a comprehensive review and then some jerk who probably didn't even read it downvotes for being "too long" or another inane reason.
One tangential observation about article/review voting. The 8 vote threshold seems weird to me. If 5 people upvote your content, it's mathematically guaranteed to get published, even if the next 3 reviewers downvote it. So, why wait to publish it? The algorithm should really be: 5 upvotes and it gets published, 4 downvotes and it gets rejected.

If anything, we are way too soft as graders

some of the Adjudicators definitely have very high standards and reject almost everything that doesn't meet their expectations. I suggest that they read some of the approved reviews that are dated back before founder changed the approval method and implemented the present system.
.
my last submission of a review kind of shows that because I was not impressed with a particular Club's available dancer selection and didn't spend any money or time at all... my review was rejected. but at least the rejected review is posted so that bit of information is still available for others to read.
next time I promise I'll check out the restroom and inquire as to the customer drink selection and prices and also the prices of fichas and lap dances and arriba prices. and I won't forget the VIP opportunities that exist in that club. then more than likely I'll walk out then after 2 minutes (unless there's a real hottie finally in that particular Club.)

for some Adjudicator to reject a review for just being 'too long' is absurd in my mind.
. if it's too long (in their opinion) but otherwise it's still a good review... they should approve it and as a comment say 'too long'.

I haven’t been writing many reviews lately, but back when I was writing and reviewing clubs, there were a few that approved everything and a few who felt it necessary to shit on everything, as long as I’ve been here posting there’s always something to bitch about, actually the system is decent, my personal opinion is dont let the negative affect your outlook. Right now the system is working, my experience is too much to expect perfection, plus if founder gets bored he’s liable to reengineer the whole thing yet again.

@RonJax2 The "long long" crowd are worried that if people post higher quality material that there own cut and paste reviews will stop being acceptable

And for the record my reviews are never perfect. Typos galore, the occasional missed detail etc. But I try a little bit. Trying a little is all I want
