Really good afternoon

The club is in a pretty industrial part of town, on a two-lane one-way street. Parking is on both sides of the building and in the back, but the entrance is in the back; if you park on the side and walk to the front there are big arrows painted on the building directing you around. Despite appearances you can't walk around the west side of the building; gotta go 'round the east side.

There's no cover during the day, nor is there any security dude; just the (fairly burly) DJ. As the evening wore on, I saw a dude come on at 7 with a cap labeled SECURITY. I still didn't see money change hands for a cover, but I might have missed it.

When you walk in, immediately to your left is the DJ booth; to the right is a moderately well-stocked bar. If you go during the day, be warned that it is *dark* inside; mostly red neon. The entire left wall is mirrored, and it can be really disorienting. Since the bar is right there, take those first minutes to get yourself a beverage. They had two non-alcoholic beers: an IPA (this is Oregon) and a very light Mexican lager. Only $6, and the barkeep fresh-cut a wedge of lime to stick in the neck of my lager.
