Clubs in the US that don’t play rap music
IlovehotblondechicksDallas
All,
I’m based in Dallas, and we have 2 amazing clubs here that don’t play rap music (Baby Dolls Dallas-Country, The Lodge-(Electronic,Rock). For those who prefer not to hear rap music blaring throughout the club, what are some clubs you’ve been to across the country that don’t play rap music?

last commentI will admit there are a few individual rap songs that I kind of like but overall please no rap trap crap.
here on the Southwest portion of the country and Mexico rap trap crap is a major part of the music played and it seems that most of the girls like it.
personally I can do without 99% of it.
butt there is some good shit-
Agreed @Jascoi
The Lampliter in Ottawa, Illinois used to have a rule banning rap music. If for some reason rap music was played, they were forced to dance to some ancient country music song. I have no idea if this still goes on, as it's been years since I last visited.
Hiphugger in Kokomo, Indiana - no rap music.
Awesome @DandyDan
Perfect @Aboutown
As a southerner, I hate going up north and all the clubs play that EDM crap. I enjoy when clubs play classic rock or hip hop. But that soulless dance music with the WOMP WOMP bass and crazy buildups... absolute garbage.
Don't come to Atlanta.

Tattletale plays a decent amount of rock. They were name dropped by Motley Crue, after all.
Tattletales in Atlanta plays my favorite music - 70s/80s rock. It's been awhile, but I don't recall too much rap, if any, being played.
Also, back to Indiana, clubs like Brad's Brass Flamingo mix it up with rock and what I'd call fun country. Not the drippy stuff, but more like "Friends in Low Places."
Aboutown's comment that the Hiphugger up in Kokomo, Indiana does not play rap is correct. They do play sixties soul music like Otis Redding and James Brown, stuff that I like.
Brad's Brass Flamingo here in Indianapolis will play rock and country, especially on dayshift. There has been an exodus of middle class Whites out of Indy in recent years due to high crime which has forced local clubs to play rap to appeal to the higher percentage of Black customers. There are no strip clubs out in the suburbs.
At one point chicas bonitas in vegas banned rap when lacys was open next door. There was too much violence there then it closed.
I like rap music in clubs though
Good info on Hip Hugger. I haven’t been there in probably 10 years so wasn’t sure if it’s like it used to be.
