Maybe I'm just a sick bastard but I root for the evil empire. I love watching special talents like Mahomes do their thing. KC always does "just enough" in the regular season, then cranks it up in the postseason
Normally I can't stand Mahomes and by extension the Chiefs. All too often, if someone breathes on Mahomes, flags fly. If I never see one of his fake slides again it will be too soon.
But tonight I can't complain about that, as much as I would like to. The refs called it square, even when Mahomes took a few licks. The Bills simply didn't stop KC when they needed to or execute on offense when the game was on the line. That's on them.
Only thing I care about is my numbers in the pool. I hate the Eagles and Philly teams in general. Don't particularly like or dislike the Chiefs, but I'm sick of the Taylor Swift bullshit, so for that reason alone, yeah, fuck 'em.
^ That's what it should be. But what happens if Allen gets that first? Do the Chiefs still win? Mind you, I think KC was more deserving of the win, but that call definitely altered the course of the game.
Maybe the NFL wanted the Chiefs to win so the Swifties would watch the Super Bowl, LOL.
@Puddy, during any game, there are often multiple calls AND non-calls that people can point to as unfair. There is no such thing as perfect officiating.
They sent it to NY for review because they presumably had access to more camera angles than they guys on the field. I couldn't tell for certain if the ball made it all the way or if he was down at some point short.
The team that wins is the one that can execute when it needs to in a way that doesn't put the game in the hands of officiating chance. More than anything, Allen lost that call because the Bills could move the KC defense off the line - a problem they were having all game.
The Bills still had plenty of other chances to win the game. They just didn't execute. They were beaten on both sides of the ball when the game was on the line. Again, I'm saying all of this as someone who was shouting at the TV in frustration, lol.
^ And that's why I said KC was more deserving of the win, overall. Buffalo's D had no answer for Patrick Mahomes' otherworldly field vision and resourcefulness. At halftime, I texted my friend saying that this game was going to come down to Buffalo needing a stop and not getting it. Sure enough...
I’d say that the Bills had several more opportunities to win this game, so maybe the call was wrong, the single play by itself was not enough to win or lose a game.
I thought the Bills got robbed (even though I bet against them, I wanted them to win). A bunch of envelopes were passed on that call and in the game in general.
If you are talking about being rude and abrasive, yeah their fans are up there along with the Packers and probably the Cowboys. The Patriots fanbase had their time too but have taken a backseat over the last few years. Browns fans are some of the most delusional, though.

Bad day to back the underdogs in the NFL.
And kudos to Philly
Looks like a great matchup for the Super Bowl

Nick Siriani, 2 superbowl trips and 4 playoffs and these assholes wanted to fire him?
Dan Campbell got a bye week and Detroit is ready to build a statue of him outside of Ford field.
