Not bankrupt per se, but spending so much more $ on strippers than before. Moved to FL recently, and I went to clubs on 3 days in 6 days, went to two in one day (so 4 in a week), and even walked into 2 more but walked out right away (for different reasons too, but both related to club greediness.
This is not sustainable, even if no rooms and no cover charges. Just too many LD's. Too many 20's latinas (my weakness).
How do you guys do it?
Start working another job, uber eats etc to come up with the needed funds
Pace yourself. Too much of anything no matter how awesome and you’ll eventually burn out on it.
Example - I love to play poker, haven’t been able to play much this year. Went the other day, actually won a significant amount of money for once. Was excited. Want to go do it again. Had a free night the other day and passed, trying to limit myself to once a month that way it’s still exciting for me.
Have you made impulsive decisions over things in the past. Some people have trouble with self control. I’m not trying to put you down, almost all of us are obsessive over something in our lives and waste too much time and/or money blown on it.
Actually I'm usually the opposite, not impulsive enough. And I could have spent like 5x more. FL SC are just too fun.

That would definitely solve the problem but not the way you think. Wouldn't have time any more. And that doesn't pay at all, on a relative basis. I have the $, just too cheap to spend it, alas the quotes.

What I do is pay all of my bills ahead of time and then take half of what's left as discretionary spending money
One thing I've found that makes it easier to stay out of the club is finding a girl or two for OTC. It might sound a little counter intuitive, but I often find myself waiving off a trip to the club in favor of having a fave come over instead. OTC is somewhat cheaper when you factor in all the costs, especially if you see the same girl regularly.
^ I was about to post the exact same thing, it's very easy to skip the club when you have a FWB relationship with a stripper, and seeing the same girl out of the club is cheaper no matter what the activity consider that there are much fewer outstretched hands, tipping a server is a lot cheaper than a typical club employee for the same thing.
Oh, it gets a hell of a lot cheaper when you start venturing into more FWB/Sugar Baby type scenarios. It's not a majority of them, but there are plenty of those Cuban girls in their late 20's in the clubs that are up for those sort of arrangements. But it takes some practice learning to identify them, it might take a recent transplant a while to learn to sift out the romance hustlers and scammers to find the gems.
On a related note, do people really consider hitting two clubs on the same day "two trips to the strip club?" If I hit one club in an area where there is a cluster, I frequently will check out another one, sometimes two. I do the same after a long weekend in the Keys, where I'll make a few stops into some of Miami clubs as I drive north. I've hit all three south Florida Cheetah's on the same day in that situation. I still think of all of those as sorta one visit to the club though.
I expect the novelty will eventually wear off, and you’ll be able to fall into a more healthy and sustainable pace. I think of south Florida strip clubs like the beach. I live near the beach, but I rarely go to the beach. However, I love that fact knowing it’s nearby for whenever I want to go.
i couldn't live in South Florida. Having the Pompano 3 in short driving distance anytime I was a little bored would ruin me.

Of course, its more of an organic meeting, where there could be a restaurant visit first, which the guy also pays for. But net-net if the guy is spending $400+ per meeting it is still close to stripper otc or escorting.

Enjoying these girls is a rich man's hobby. And I ain't a rich man. Blew through my savings (which was a comfortable amount.) So I've had to cut way back... but I'm still having fun. but certainly not as much fun as I would like.
You need to budget
Better to get it out of your system instead of making yourself miserable holding back when you really don’t want to.
When you start getting bored, you’ll have some clarity to think about what you really want. Find a higher paying job? Save money and make financial investments? Leave the scene and focus on dating for a while?
At the end of the day, you have to be honest with yourself, because no one else is going to.
It's called self control. If you don't have it this can be a dangerous hobby. Know your budget, not just for individual visits but per week, per month and per year.
No matter how good the girls are, they aren't worth messing up your life outside of the club by overspending on them. Especially if all you are doing is getting lapdances and not ducking them.
