Bikini isn't so bad depending on how it's enforced. Many bikini bars are okay with the top off in private room. The dance mileage is the only option that would make me pursue bikini bar.

the real difference is what they're allowed to be wearing in the county/state where the club is. In a "bikini" club, the dancers can't wear anything less than a bikini. In a "pastie" club, the dancers have to wear something over their nipples, sometimes it's very revealing, sometime it's not. etc. It varies because legally, some places are allowed to have nude dancing but not sell alcohol or whatever.

Atlanta metro area is all nude with alcohol with one exception. Club Wax is a bikini club. They do not have to have an adult entertainment license and the dancers do not have have to get a permit which requires a back ground check. What happens in VIP is between the dancer and customer.

However in the totally nude clubs it is rare to see a Cuban dancer remove her bottoms for a lap dance or even get in stage. They are up to just about anything in VIP.
