Your guaranteed to see crazy shit like that in LA. They should turn in one of those double decker bus tours.
I have never seen a naked woman with spiked clubs in Venice Beach, but have seen a lot of mentally ill folks and drug addicts on the promenade. Every time I get out to SoCal for work, I seem to end up there at least once for the unrivaled people watching.
