So, I’m new to this site. Have been going to clubs for over 20 years. I’ve read plenty of reviews, and it dawned on me. What’s really the difference with the girls we all love and go and see? We pay for the dances , we get the handshake and sometimes more. Some of us get the opportunity to do otc with them. But question in hand, what’s the difference?
generally strippers have a line that they won't cross. simulated sex a la lappers and on the sly handjobs are the max for them. a smaller menu to choose from, if you will. the others have way larger options to choose from the size of a menu at a diner frequented by the geriatric community. this could include french(tongue), italian(assjob) and many many more. i think greek is the most popular dish.
That's highly subjective. Especially since this discussion could be very different within a group of dancers.
I would say that all of those things can overlap and it doesn't make a lot of sense to get overly granular with definitions.
Some lines can be drawn. A dancer who does no extras or OTC is just a dancer and not an escort or sex worker (though I've seen it argued that all dancers are sex workers by default). Meanwhile, an escort who never works in a strip club is obviously not a stripper. And then there's the whole sugar baby thing.
But really it's all hairsplitting. As long as I'm having fun and she's getting paid, I don't care.
Sex Worker is a category. Escort and Stripper are sub-categories of Sex Worker. People can be in multiple categories at the same time, so your girl who spends most of her time as an Escort can strip as a side gig or the other way around. Most strippers I know who also work as escorts meet their clients at the club or via referrals.
Sex worker=umbrella term for the sex industry. Yes, this term may also include a virgin who sells erotic pictures of her feet. Sex work is work related to sexual stimulation.
Escort=those who intentionally charge for their time, and full service sex is implied.(Or explicit, if law enforcement fears aren’t really there.) It’s usually, but doesn’t necessarily have to be, arranged from online on platforms where both escorts and clients have agreed is a safe enough place to get a transaction.
A stripper is somebody who works at a strip club. Thanks to many years of strict zoning rules, most strip clubs are grandfathered in and it’s very tough to open a new strip club anywhere nationwide. Thanks to that, it’s very easy to identify a stripper because there are only so many strip clubs out there. So a stripper is somebody who works at a strip club and isn’t part of the bar or manager staff.a stripper could be somebody doing a Bikini dance in Nashville, an air dance in San Jose, a wide variety of activities in Dallas, and an even wider variety of activities that makes one wonder why the word “stripper” is its own separate word to describe somebody. A small minority of strippers may also work for a company that does home visits, and most of those companies are for those catering to bachelor parties.
To start with, it's redundant to add paid to sex worker, nothing is work if it's not paid.
The main problem is, the full definition of human sexuality is unclear. For example, does the Mona Lisa count as erotic art?
A stripper is a sex worker who meets clients in a strip/"gentleman's" club. Or just strips for clients, but clubs like that seem to be entirely a thing of the past.
An escort is a sex worker who finds clients through advertising.
bigbootyliker: "nothing is work if it's not paid." - except volunteer work. I also thought paid sex worker was a little redundant because they have common words for the unpaid ones, but why not dust off the old troll button once in a while?
Nice nailed it. SW is the umbrella, the other terms are sub types with implied limits but blurry lines. Go get a delightful handy from your local Sex Worker today!
There are also sex workers who advertise as strippers, and come to the client location. I think the implication with that is, OK with multiple clients, but at best one way contact. Whereas the default with an escort is BJ and FS, but no multiple clients. In Spanish-speaking countries, a sex worker ad that refers to the term "relax" implies escort-type service.
I think the others covered it very well. At the end of the day all these are silly terms, and what you get really depends on the individual you are dealing with/if they are desperate or perhaps like you somewhat etc.
Picky and horny are different. Some people are both extremely horny and picky. Which can be miserable if they're not hot or a guy with lots of money. Women are generally more picky than men. And they are more likely to be picky about things that are not immediately noticeable. But there are some less picky women, and it is a huge advantage as a sex worker.
It's bittersweet, how often a stripper will warm up to you because you rub her back a little. The warming up is nice, but sad she's not getting plenty of that at home.
Maybe, in some enlightened future, sex workers will be called sex chefs. A meal in a restaurant can't really replace one you prepare with a loved one. But, it can have qualities only a professional can provide.
Idk like irl I have always taken an above average amount of time to get to know someone, and all I gotta say is that men can fake everything they tell a woman for a really long time and spend all kinds of money to all of a sudden do a 180 once they have you and just be really fucking abusive long term. I'm over ever trying to date anyone normally again. Shoulda just been a hooker all these years not gonna lie. I'm not special nor a model, but it isn't that hard to get people to offer well above avg. I shoulda just been saying yes hahahaha. lol it is what it is!!!
I don't think it makes sense for sex workers to pass up money to be marriageable or a good girl or whatever the fuck. From what I've seen, you're better off without someone who is possessive and believes in the double standard. But it takes a big psychological toll, when someone does FS or whatever with PLs, even though they find it disgusting.
You’d be surprised by the number of incredibly gorgeous bikini-fitness models you never heard of who are on Instagram but who also do incredible true self-made amateur hardcore porn on Onlyfans. Just saying.
An Escort is not a sex worker because you are paying for her companionship and time, nothing else. What happens of a sexual nature between consenting adults is not sex work because she is not getting paid. A tip is offered as a token of gratitude for her providing a girlfriend type of of experience, but a tip is not mandatory.
A Stripper is a sex worker because it is a quid pro quo type of relationship. Give me your money and I'll give you a VIP or sexual fantasy.
A Paid Sex Worker is similar to a Stripper, but does not provide any entertainment or fantasy. It's simply slam, bam, thank you ma'am.

I dunno if you're joking or not, but I hear that more than I'd have expected as time goes on.
