So I look at my schedule for work tomorrow and everything is a go for the SC tomorrow. Thursday is my best day to attend because the club opens early for day shift, most of my favorites will be there and the club has great specials. Two minutes after I decide to go I get a reminder call from my financial advisor that I have an appointment for tomorrow. The advisor just saved me money but at what expense to my mental health? I cringe when any of my older relatives talks about their “ financial advisor”. I’m almost certain they’d be better off with sticking most in an index fund and 3 years of expenses in a money market.
CS's are also a decent option and risk free (aside from early termination fees)

From time to time whenever I lose money on an investment, I tell myself that I would have much rather thrown that money away at a strip club, where I’d at least have fun losing it. Kind of puts things in perspective.
