Chat Icon blinking now

OK, maybe it's just me. My Chat Icon started to blink today, and I noticed a few messages from like 4 & 5 months ago. Anyone else experience this?

MY chat icon has been working fine except that it is so faint that it is easy to miss. So I have set up my profile to get an Email whenever someone sends me a chat message.

Mine just always blinks. Whether I have new messages or not.

I’d say that it’s been blinking all along. You just never noticed it before. Mine only blinks when a new message appears - meaning, it works properly.

Mine works as described sometimes because it’s so faint I don’t notice it right away

For a little while it actually indicated the number of unread messages. That was the best incarnation of the chat icon. It might’ve even changed color, which was also better than the current pulsing icon.
