  Easier to pop you out and put the thong back in place in case of a surprise visit from a bouncer or something. Sure, _your_shit will be out in the open, but a surprising number of clubs don't seem to have a huge problem with *my* shit being out, as long as it's not inside something of hers.

  A dancer I still see regularly used to do that. Based on other things she did, it was clearly a precaution against her getting caught “pants down” by management.
