OT: RIP Alan Arkin (1934 - 2023)

Any place that interests me.
Who could forget this talented actor ? My memories of him are his award nominated role of Capt. Yossarian in the drama satire "Catch 22", or his hilarious pairing with Peter Falk in "The In Laws". My fave scene in the former was where he flipped the bird to Col. Cathcart (Martin Balsam) prior to takeoff while everyone else gave the thumbs up signal.

last comment“Serpentine Shelly!”. The In Laws is a classic. I haven’t seen it in years, I’ll have to watch again this week. The last Alan Arkin movie I remember seeing is Argo. A good movie that he brought excellent dry humor to.
^^ Ar-go-fuck-yourself! Lol
Loved him in “Little Miss Sunshine”.
I always remember him from a made for TV movie from the ‘80’s “Escape from Sobibor”
Arkin leads an escape of prisoners from a Nazi concentration camp. Intense.
Who?
Enjoyed his work with Michael Douglas Jr in "The Cominski Method ".
He was a funny guy. I was surprised to see that he was 89. He is good in the Kominsky Method, where his impending death was a topic.
