How to make better a world...where evil brings profit and virtue none at all…

The truth hurts, but if you accept it, it will set you free
Title couldn’t say it all.

“How to make better a world...where evil brings profit and virtue none at all…

Where fraud, deceit, and malice...are mingled with truth and sincerity…”

~ Alonso Quijano/Don Quijote - the leading character of the 1605/1615 novel Don Quijote de la Mancha, written by Miguel de Cervantes.
As portrayed in the movie “Man of La Mancha”(1972)

“The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA. Thank you very much.“

“Greed is the disordered desire for more than is decent or deserved, not for the greater good but for one's own selfish interest, and at the detriment of others and society at large”

Greed can be for anything, but is most commonly for food, money, possessions, power, fame, status, attention, admiration, and sex.”

If you have a thing to sell and go and holler in a well, you probably won’t sell as much as a guy who hollers well.

Want some real wisdom? Just listen to the ricks:

    “Squawk!” - the vulture

“Use the system!” - the dugan

“Scuttle! Scuttle! Scuttle!” - the coconut crab

“ROAR!!!” - yours truly, the frickin’ lion

Greed (or avarice) is considered, by catholics, as one of the “Seven Deadly Sins”.

Greed Leads to the other Sins; like pride, lust, gluttony, sloth, anger, and envy.

@CJKent: "Greed (or avarice) is considered, by catholics, as one of the 'Seven Deadly Sins'."

Too bad they don't think child molestation qualifies.

Any organization that hides, excuses, and protects child molesters is in no way qualified to pass moral judgements on others.

“The term religion comes from both; French and Anglo-Norman (1200s AD) and means respect for sense of right, moral obligation, sanctity, what is sacred, reverence for the gods.

It is ultimately derived from the Latin word religio.”

Religion is also a particular system of faith and worship.

People should decide whether something written or said makes sense by its content, not by the person who writes or says it, regardless of the letters after his or her name, title or position in society, age, nationality etc.

:People should decide whether something written or said makes sense by its content,"

I did. The Bible is *full* of xenophobia masquerading as morality.

Any organization that hides, excuses, and protects child molesters is in no way qualified to pass moral judgements on others.

The golden rule states he who has the gold makes the rules.

@25, in one of his books, Vivek Ramaswamy calls that "the Goldman Rule."

He interned for Goldman, and at one point they did some volunteer tree planting day, and all the big shots showed up for a quick photo opp then left.

Correction, xenophobia, superstition, drug induced delusion, and pride of ignorance masquerading as morality...

I never claimed the Golden rule as morality, the reality is the rule of the jungle kicks morality’s ass, sorry but it’s the truth.
