Discovering it's a dancer time of month

In over 30 years of clubbing I have never seen anything like this, has it happened to anyone else? And how would you react?
I saw a dancer I had gotten pretty good dances from last fall doing her tip walk as I paid my cover charge. She came over after her rounds, and we caught up for a while, she telling me she was waiting to go to jail for a few months but they kept delaying her start date. We then did a lap dance which went pretty well, and since she has what I consider the ideal boobs, and we had done enjoyable dances previously, I suggested a 1/2 hour VIP.
As soon as the host gave us our drinks and closed the beads she got a terrified look on her face and, after some stammering, said she was having her period and her tampon was falling out, but we could continue. Since I had really enjoyed playing with her boobs during the lap dance, and since I really wanted to do that some more I said no, you need to go fix it. She said a number of times the VIP timer would not start until she came back and went to go do whatever it is females do in those circumstances. So I wouldn't have to think of the implications of what she had just said and could stay in denial, I meditated while staring at the dancers on stage for the 10 minutes it took her to return. 10mg THC and a double Glenlivet were helping with this.
When she came back she told me she was sorry, but when she took her tampon out a huge gush of blood followed, even though she had just changed it 20 minutes before, but she always had a heavy flow. That she tried to hurry back, but the flow kept coming. My mind refused to process any of that, so I just remained in denial playing with her butt and boobs until she moved my hand to her lower bits. That felt amazing as always, at least until I felt the string and everything she had said suddenly hit me, which pretty much killed the mood. Thankfully the 3 minute warning went off, so she spent the rest of the time apologizing. Whatever she did while she was gone worked, she asked me to check for blood before leaving, and I was very happy to find none anywhere.
Has this happened to anyone else? How would you handle it? Denial worked well right up to the last couple minutes but there are probably better ways.

To answer your question, I've found out the hard way before the fun started by spotting a string, during because blood, or after because my clothes had crimson stains on them. Somewhere in an old review of mine from Hawaii Theater in COI I talked about a Scarlett Lapper. It's funny now because I felt like burning those boxers and I've seen sooo much worse since then lol.
In one of the crazier VIP moments I've had a dancer wanted to be fingered and there was something else up there, then she looked at me like "keep going"...
I will occasionally settle for a lower milage VIP, especially if I've had good dances with them before but today the vibe isn't there. She offered more but to be honest her oversharing of all that info on her menstrual cycle had me slightly freaked out, and it was really distracting trying to figure out why she shared so much.
This. In theory I understand the mental aspect for you, but I guess after living with SOs pretty much my entire adult life, I'm just very desensitized to it. Shit some of the best sex I've ever had was crime scene sex - some girls get very horny during their periods. The bonus is that they can't get pregnant while on their periods. Now obviously that something that one probably shouldn't do with a random stripper in a club VIP area, but she still had a mouth...
However, on more than a few occasions I've continued forward and enjoyed other attractions at the park, to use 25's metaphor. Countless times I've done dances instead. I've got zero issue doing dances with a girl who is on her period. Only a few times have I had an issue, in one case it was at a club that did fully nude lap dances and she literally bled on my pants. She questioned me about what it was at first, thinking I jizzed myself and having concern for it coming into contact with her pussy I presume. It wasn't till later that she recognized that it was her who was leaking. When she did, she apologized profusely, left the dance room in a rush & without payment. I walked out and left, I tossed the shorts when I got home as I figured dried menstrual blood was something I wasn't qualified to get laundered out. It wasn't the greatest experience, but I've also had girls leave skid marks on my pants, so it's not the worst either. In any case, next time I saw her, she made it up to me ITC and after that we started seeing each other OTC.
I guess I've become desensitized to it mentally as well. Not to the point where it makes no difference whatsoever, but if in your case I didn't expect sex to begin with I wouldn't have cared in the least.
That’s great! LOL
