I was planning to spend a quiet evening at home tonight before I got hungry and before someone must have set off 2 dozen very big fireworks, the kind the professionals use. It was like a mini fourth of July around here. Now I'm drinking Miller lite to go along with the pizza I ate. Feeling good now. Happy New Year.

I ended up not doing much except watching one of the Bowl games with my brother and the Twilight Zone marathon on Sci-Fi. I haven't had anything stronger than milk yet. Its probably safer that way.
I ended up driving to Memphis Sunday. Popped in on the SO while she worked at her casino in Robinsonville, MS about 8:30PM, NYE. As she wasn't expecting me, she was flabbergasted to say the least. Her Pit Boss had to break her early and watch her 4 tables, so she could control herself, and we went and had a smoke in the casino snack bar. Needless to say, I was in need of a good tune-up! :-) Oh BTW, she drank after work, but............. not alcohol!!!
The other half and I drank some champagne earlier, but the 8 month old woke up about an hour ago and now the other half has gone to bed for fear it'll be an all night ordeal. I've since decided that I don't like champagne - it makes me think of expensive bad experiences in strip clubs from when I was young. I've also since decided that I like Maker's Mark bourbon.
