The article didn’t mention his role in Las Vegas. I found him to be good in that show too. But, I primarily watched it to see the hotties in bikinis poolside.

Misery yes! Two of my favorite actors.

That beating Carlo took was extreme. But that was also why Carlo helped Sonny get ambushed and killed.

How great of an actor was James Caan you ask? He was twice voted as New York City's Italian of the Year...and he's not even Italian!

My favorite role for him was the Hotel boss in the TV show Vegas. Mainly because of the hot girls in sexy dresses they had parading around all the time.

One of his best roles, which no one ever seems to mention was "Colorado" in El Dorado, with John Wayne and Robert Mitchum.

"Mississippi" was the James Caan character's name in El Dorado. "Colorado" was a similar character played by Ricky Nelson in Rio Bravo. I like both movies, but El Dorado remains a family favorite.

I'm late here, I really enjoyed him in Godfather and Thief. RIP

Note also that NYPD Police Capt. McCluskey hit Michael in the face hard enough to break his jaw. Michael was just trying to protect his father from this corrupt pig.
