Sjg james' defense is basically what you say. He killed people because he's a victim of the mental health system. This was his way of fighting back.

If anything the problem is he fell through the cracks of the system.

Once James was in custody I hadn't followed this story. It takes time for a real picture of what he is like to be formed.

But it is highly likely that James is a product of the mental health system.

If his defense works then that makes him criminally insane. It can be a judgment of the system. But not of the fact that mental illness exists.

His defense in court over this case has nothing to do with whether or not there is such a thing as mental illness.

I have not followed the Frank James case. Once he was in custody I did not think about it. In this country, spree shooters are a dime a dozen.

That he considers himself a victim of the mental health system is interesting. I don't know his history with it.

If say they had been trying to forcibly medicate him, and if say he were to have turned the tables on a team, and then executed the entire time on the spot, I would be inaugurating an award to be giving out annually in his honor.

But this was not what he did, not even close. He shot innocent people who just happened to be in the wrong place in the wrong time. So we have to just let the case run its course.

But the symptoms of Clinical Mental Illness are created by the Mental Health System, its drugs, and its talk therapies.

Uvalde was especially disturbing because like Sandy Hook, it was at an elementary school. TX Governor Greg Abbott wants to say that this is all because of Mental Health. Trump tried to say the same thing about the spree shootings.

They are wrong. Citing Mental Health just amounts to saying that morality is declining, personal failure. This is wrong. You won't be able to make sense of it by looking into the head of the shooter.

I think Uvalde was an act of complete desperation. He was bullied terrorized and hopeless. Add white supremacist gun culture and its a very disturbing tragedy.
