Detroit Clubs

I thought legends was a scam. They charge way too much for way too little. Also keep in mind detroit proper you have to pay for a dancing license and an agent. It costs like $250 for this alone.

Perhaps it’s worth it for some of the clubs.

I just didn’t think it was really worth it at Legends. Their house fees were high, it was hard making money, hard to get a drink. You pay out security but they barely do anything. You pay out a dj who wants to play the same 10 or so songs over and over again. There are fees for everything- and some are common - late fee, missed shift fee.

The fee that caught me off guard when he most about legends is that if you’re doing a lapdance and they call you on stage; they fine you. Danced around the country and never seen that anywhere else.

I was really excited for legends; but was disappointed that it was so expensive, fee ridden & strict. Especially after all the licensing fees and hoops I jumped through. I recommend looking for clubs that don’t need the license/agent. However, if you’re interested in a club that requires the license, really get your target club and make sure you know what you’re getting into.
