Smirnoff 100 proof in Mexico liquor stores?

Redbaron12
Do any of you TJ mongers know..... can I buy Smirnoff Vodka at a liquor store in Tijuana? The last two times I've gone to Hong Kong I drink rum. I hate all alcohol. I hate drinking it. But I like being a little tipsy. I want to buy a bottle of Smirnoff 100 proof. I'll shoot it, plug my nose, and chase it like a little bitch. I just buy the bottle at Honk Kong but they don't have 100 proof. Geeze I sound like an alcoholic when I say 100 proof. The less I have to drink, the better. Just wondering if I need to buy it in the states or if I can buy the same stuff in Mexico liquor store. Never been to the liquor store there.

Thanks for your help.

Don't know, but is being tipsy in TJ really a good idea?

Haha well I’m still alive and I’m never not a little tipsy while there. I don’t get out of control when I drink. Nobody would have any idea I had been drinking. I don’t get drunk. Just enough to take the edge off. I’ve got a guy in Mexico coming to the airport to pick me up. He’s bringing it to me so I’m good now.

I can’t blame the OP. I’m sitting here jogging my memory and thinking of my best strip club nights EVER and just about all of them I was tipsy.

Alcohol helps you lose your inhibitions and also all your worries. Many people need a drink to be able to loosen up.

how about just pouring rubbing alcohol alcohol onto a napkin and then inhale deeply? wouldn't that have the same effect?

^^^ you’d have to ask San Jose Guy to confirm on that one…

nah no need to ask him. we all have an idea that his choice would be chloroform. when the library is closed he likes to go and take pics. afterwards, he processes the films featuring the victims.

If you walk out the main HK entrance and turn right, there's a couple of liquor stores down the street. If they don't have what you want, you can always walk or cab it downtown and check the stores there.

And by down the street, I mean a block away. :-)

Many years ago I drove through the little town of Tequila, Jalisco, MX on my way to Guadalajara. It is the center of tequila distilleries and the blue agave fields surround the town. Seems like there was a liquor store on every corner.
