One other quick question, if I was issued an FMM on the computer when I went into Tijuana on Thursday, do I still need to get another one when I go back within seven days? I tore up the last slip of paper when I left thinking I was heading out for good.

Southbound from the US into Mexico, PedWest is usually open from 3 pm to 11 pm each day. But as sushiman said, hours are always subject to change. And while you should always keep the original FMM, the agent will issue another one at the gate if necessary.
