A dancer was telling me, since her bf broke it off with her, one night stands have been here sexual outlet. Guys are supposed to be proud of one night stands, but why if it was good, why just once? Doesn't a one nighter mean either it was nothing to be proud of, since you don't want a repeat, or she thinks you suck in bed, and not in good way? If it's good for both (or all if an orgy), shouldn't it lead to being fuck buddies at least? Are most one nighters because one or both people are cheating?
When I was young, I'd shy away from chicks who were DTF, but all serious/emotional. It's not worth the drama of dealing with chicks seeking a marriage born in the hell of guilt tripping and pussy whipping. A lot guys felt like the chick had it coming to hit it once and ghost. But women use to be under so much pressure to find a hubbers, I had some sympathy for their desperate measures. Is that still where most one nighters come from, are lots of young chicks even now still losery like that? Or, do most people feel like most of the people they fuck are so-so, and the only thing that makes it worth it is the thrill of the first time?

If the girl is just out of a relationship and going for a bunch of ONS, it's probably because she wants sex with zero complications. Repeating with someone brings (at least the chance of) complications.

What comes of it depends on the context of the 1 night stand. If you meet and either of you are on vacation or drugs or alcohol are involved you likely won't see them again.
I'm not a fan. Iys really empty sex. You get your thrills and on to the next one. But its okay once in a while

My view of one night stands is they are no strings attached nights of sex.
There is no relationship - and no implied expectation of additional hookups.
It’s not that there won’t be any more hookups - but there’s no expectations of an ongoing relationship.
The sex could be amazing - and you might have a great time - but thats it.
