Shortz in The Klub

Back in my early PL days in the 90's I showed up to a SC in sweatpants and was so strongly rebuked I haven't bothered to try again since. The explanation given at the time was that - and I know some of you will be absolutely shocked - fellas would slyly let the little guy out during grinding lap dances. I know right! That was my exact plan. Corrected in my assumption that I'd figured out a new trick, I've lived my life since under the rule "if there are no belt loops, it will not be allowed in the nice clubs." I've talked to many dancers, bouncers, and managers in the past 30 years that confirmed. I've always considered shorts in the same category. Till today.

So I've been hanging on a friend's boat all weekend and the volume of inaccessible flesh on display finally drove us to make a lunch run to an adult Klub for something we could touch. We called to confirm the "dress code" before heading out, and were begrudgingly told that shorts and tee-shirts would be "okay", as long as they are not bathing suits or sports shorts (not sure if this is normal, or due to the size of our group and recognition of the holiday weekend.)

I will admit that I've seen dudes in shorts at the Klub in the past and always kind of sort of looked down on them a bit. "Like, get dressed up for a classy night, dude!" I also truly believe I get better attention from the girls in bars that allow it due to perceptions about money, sophistication, and such. Man, I'm an idiot!!!

While at first it was a little odd being so casual in a Klub, I shit you not that I had a female hand on my bare cock for 115 of the 120 minutes we were there. Admittedly, I did sneak in with some nice looking shorts - with only an elastic band! Also, they were short. The access was just too tempting for the dancers looking to make some money on a slow day and trying to get me to make decisions with the "little head". Sitting in a booth and ordering bottle service are certain to have helped as well.

While I had a lovely time (as did a couple of the other guys), I was wondering if this is common? Or just a perfect storm of July 4th being on a Sunday, the club being open on Monday with a slow crowd, and a good weather weekend? I can certainly get used to this level of attention, as hard as it was to not over stimulate myself in the booth! If it were up to me, I'd never go with any other type of bottom again.

Have any of you had similar experiences?

Girls, what are your thoughts?

I have been told by dancers that when they see a guy in shorts that it is an indicator that he knows what he’s there for and he is an experienced monger. Just like wearing jeans is the mark of a nubbie.

"Have any of you had similar experiences?"

There are hundreds of threads here about wearing shorts in the club. You are not a pioneer.

    "Girls, what are your thoughts?"

If those hundreds of threads are accurate, dancers (and everyone else) knows why most guys wear shorts to a strip club. Some dancers go after these guys as easy money. Some dancers don't care. And other dancers avoid guys in shorts like the plague, because they don't love having to clean cum off of their ass after a dance.

Come on now my ape friends, this new “TheMatt” poster contributes a generally well-written and entertaining missive and two of you complain that shorts have been done before (or “shortz” - no doubt a gen-Z neologism).

It has all been done before my friends. Even the valuable advice we ricks give has been given before. Why do we keep giving it? Out of the hope that you damn dirty apes can fucking learn how to behave!

So “TheMatt” has discovered that “the shortz” are not universally verboten in “da klub”. Congratulate him! It means one of two things. First, it really happened. In that case I say a hearty congrats to “TheMatt”. Second, it might be a complete fabrication. If so, I still offer congratulations to “TheMatt” for his desire to write something entertaining!

    Keep up “TheGoodWork” “TheMatt”. ROAR!!!

But know this: proper strip club attire is a stylin’ suit. Suit comes off when you get the stripper back to your hotel room. ROAR!!!

Sweats, t-shirt and hoodie in the winter and shorts a t-shirt or golf shirt in the summer. Whatever others think matters not.

In Florida, everyone wears shorts all the time. Anywhere in the Deep South during the summer, everyonr wears shorts all the time. Very few places enforce too strict a dress code, except for the truly fine dining restaurants. It doesn't mean too too much, except that jeans are still the attire of a rookie.

There is one downside to athletic shorts. Many years ago at the infamous Follies a guy was leaving and a dancer ran up behind him and pulled his basketball shorts to the ground. Cannot unsee that commando ass! She stood on them so he could not pull them up right away. My guess is he had some sort of monetary dispute with her and was walking out. The whole place gave him a rousing round of applause.

^^^ I always figured you went into clubs in just your underwear after hearing some of your exploits!

I agree this topic has been covered many times in the past.

However, I think it’s good to remind fellow mongers that shorts may not be allowed in every club - and at all times.

I see TheMatt has experience clubbing in MI - and if those clubs allow shorts - I see no reason to think twice! Throw on some shorts - go commando - and get ready to be stroked until your head explodes!

I don’t monger in classy clubs - so shorts are a great way to club comfortably in the summer!

If you’re a rich stud it doesn’t matter what you’re wearing as long as you can get off.

I am always in shorts outside the club they are so god damn comfortable. But I have yet to have the cajones to walk into a club with shorts on. That must be some Florida shit right there.

I must be a TWAT then. Nearly all my clubbing is days I often wear shorts (dress) in the summer never once experienced any issues. Would estimate 50% of clientele are in shorts

I used to wear shorts and go commando to my favorite clubs as long as the wind chill factor was above freezing but I'm getting too old for that shit. I'm getting ready for winter. I've bought a cheap pair of nylon pants from Walmart. They are black with a zipper for access. I'll probably wear them when the temperature drops below 50.

Shorts/sweatpants aren't gonna make me not put up at all with a customer. I don't really give a shit about grinding and not really worried if the dude has a boner. Only thing is with sweatpants or shorts with no underwear boner man I might grind less and air dance more LOL.

I feel like if bitches are scared of dudes with boners then that's weird that they are a stripper.

I definitely have. This completely depends on the club. There are 2 clubs I’d wear basketball shorts commando even.

I became a semi-regular-SCer when I moved to Dallas in 2000 – I wasn’t a TUSCLer then and I’d usually wear office-casual attire to the SC (khakis; etc).

I first started going to clubs like Baby Dolls which kinda have a dress-code – after a while I started gravitating towards dives b/c they had more WOC dancers which is my pref; and I almost always went at night usually weekends – one night circa 2005 I was at a small/friendly Dallas dive and I noticed a guy wearing sweatpants – it was pretty-obvious they were sweats b/c they were light-gray in color so they stood out – the guy seemed in his 30s and was a pretty-good-looking guy and seemed pretty-confident walking around the club in his obvious sweats – at first as a semi-inexperienced SCer I was kinda taken-aback – my immediate reaction was “man that guy has no shame” – but it made an impression on me and made me think “there were alternatives to enjoying dances”; prior to seeing this dude I don’t think wearing SC specific attire had ever crossed my mind.

Anyway not long after that I decided to give it a try – I purchased some sweats but didn’t really put much thought into which sweats to buy – I just went to a sporting-goods store and bought some that looked comfortable – they were dark-gray/charcoal-gray but were kinda thick – I started using them at the dives I was now hitting and enjoying my dances more – a bit later after having gotten used to wearing the sweats to the dives; I bought some thinner sweats and bought them in black and w/ pockets so they looked less obvious and that is what I wore till I became a TUSCLer in early-2012 (I don’t recall if I went commando w/ the sweats; it’s been a long time but I think I wore underwear).

I didn’t get the idea to wear shorts (and go commando) till I became a TUSCLer and read others’ experiences – it wasn’t till I became a TUSCLer that I started hitting clubs on dayshift w/ more regularity till I became mostly a dayshift clubber (I was back living in Miami when I became a TUSCLer) – it being Miami (warm year-round) and visiting mostly on dayshift and hitting mostly dives, I felt fine wearing my athletic-shorts and being commando.

I’ve been doing the commando/athletic-shorts thing for probably the last 5+ years but I still usually avoid wearing shorts on my infrequent nightshift visits – for my nightshift visits I usually wear my black (w/ pockets) Kashi lounge pants which are thin and stretchy only downside is no zipper/fly – I recently for the first time wore a black pair of pajama pants w/ a button-fly; they are black w/ pockets and didn’t stand out much (no more than my Tashi lounge pants that I’ve worn many times in the past) – but I wore them on dayshift at a dive; IDK if I’d have the balls to wear them to a non-dive club particularly at night but “PL lines are meant to be crossed” 😜

Below are the pajama pants I recently wore to a dive dayshift visit:

I'm in Phoenix. Nine or ten months out of the year I'm in cargo shorts...and that includes going out. Never commando. The other two-three months, jeans. Once while wearing biz casual pants I stopped at a strip club on my way home from work and decided I probably wouldn't be doing that again any time soon. Yep, they were thin and everything felt great, but I wasn't super thrilled about showing off to the whole place...

Actually, now that I think about it...a couple years ago when I started going to strip cluba again, it was one of the girls who flat out told me to wear shorts the next time, so she could have easier access...and this was a Friday night around 12am in Phoenix in winter, i.e. busy as hell.

Ha, same place, different girl, used to tell me to quit wearing tshirts, wear shirts with buttons, because, again, easier access. Not being one to see deny a hot girl in her 20s, I obliged, and my strip club attire usually became cargo shorts, button shirt, and flip flops because I'm just so brave. In this town I often end up being one of the better dressed in the place, and all because a couple girls wanted to be extra nice...

I stand corrected on the shortz observations - I hit a few bars tonight and 50% of the PLs were in them. Including the "nice" places. I was a bit surprised considering the klubz were packed for the UFC. I asked a bouncer bud who was working and he said while they prefer pants, button shortz were "allowed". He did say that he turned away "50 Lulu Lemon Pansies" 'cause their "mamas never taught them how to dress."
